I’m surprised the reviews are good for this place.The Sushi was warm, rolls were not tight, miso was packaged, ginger was old, avocado was mushy, tea was scolding, water was warm, and prices were not great either. Go to Sushi Shun or Sushi Mori instead. I didn’t finish my food and feel sick from eating here.
We have ordered from various places in Surrey and have also eaten at world renowned Nobu sushi restaurant. Village sushi has topped them all! In fact, as we were eating at Nobu, my kids commented that they wouod prefer Village sushi over Nobu any day. Village is the best quality sushi in Surrey. We will not order anywhere else.
I love this sushi restaurant! They are always willing to make items vegetarian for me.

I’ve been there 3x now and each time service was quick and food was fresh. Chicken Katsu was hot, crispy, and juicy. The portion size is perfect and the side of rice amazing. Tempura is not at all greasy and had good veggie variety. They always give soo much extra sauce with pick up orders when asked:) great prices for quality and quantity!
Tried this place, via Skip/dishes. Ordered Prawn Tempura ( it was fine - Ponzu sauce was so-so - mostly just soy sauce). Ordered also "Dynamite" roll in a sushi combo. Sushi was fine - nothing exciting. Dynamite roll wasn't what anyone would expect - Prawn tempura surrounded by whatever veggies make up the rice roll. It was 90% garbage crab. I call them and inform that this what not what I ordered. The lady just keeps saying that the "Dynamite" roll has "fake" crab and yes, in mayonnaise. I explain again and again that I'm extremely allergic to mayonnaise. I attempt to inform her that a Dynamite roll does not contain any crab, whether fake or real. She just keeps saying that next time I should order something different. Again and again. In soft exasperation, I tell her, " I won't order from your restaurant 'again.' 'NOT happy." I said it firmly, but without any loud voice. I take no pleasure in writing a bad review for any biz.
Never been to this location. Really delicious, kind of pricey but definetly worth it.
Good food poor service. Not willing at all to accommodate or change any menu items if you don't like one thing in an item. Most likely will not be returning to this sushi house.
Food is amazing so accommodating towards changing your order, staff are polite and courteo
