Great for breakfasts… but they need to move to offering an all day breakfast menu!
Very good food! I got eggs Benedict and it was some of the best I've had in the area, my parents both ordered french toast and they loved it!Only downside was that since it was busy the wait staff was hard to get a hold of but I don't blame them for that, and it was VERY loud. Maybe don't go during peak hours if you want a quieter dining experience as we could barely hear each other talk and I have sensory issues so I needed to wear earplugs.
The Roadhouse is a great place to go for a good old home cooked style meal. The menu reads like all of the favorite things my mother used to make for family meals.I had a side house salad that was modern and brightly flavored. The bowl of soup that my partner had was hearty and came as a generous portion.I look forward to returning to see how well the rest of the menu stands up.The place was moderately busy for the mid-week dinner service when I was there for my only visit. Parking is on-site and plentiful.
First time here and it was great. Our sever (I wish I got her name) was fantastic. Sometimes I find service at restaurants, especially during breakfast hours to be rushed but she was kind and calm. I will definitely be back here for more food. My only negative comment was that I ordered a side of hollandaise sauce and it was luke warm at best and their hash browns are very basic.Ordered their French toast plate with bacon. Bacon was delicious and cooked properly. Eggs were fluffy and French toast was perfect. Sante Fe Benny was also great and the eggs were poached correctly.
Decided to go and try the Roadhouse Grille for breakfast yesterday. Our activities had us in White Rock and we've got a soft spot for old school diners which was how we selected this place over others. My rundown: The service was great. The portions were good. The food was good but not great. However, their sourdough was fantastic! The prices were not bad either.Happy we went but would not go out of my way to go back. Wouldn't mind trying their lunch or dinner fare if I was in the area at the time.
This place is definitely worth checking out. They have solid classic breakfast options and the portions are big. Specifically the pancakes are giant!Great ambiance and really cool decor with classic Hollywood memorabilia on the walls. There’s a treasure cave with a treasure chest for the kiddos, which is an amazing bonus! These little details is what makes the place special. My kiddos are a tad too old to go into the cave now, but they are left with some fun memories.
I love this place! We've come here for a few ladies lunches over the years, a Christmas lunch a few times, and more recently have been stopping in when in the area for some awesome soup! You can always be guaranteed great food, but especially great home made soups that change daily. Love this place!
Food and it'll service was good, and came quickly. Server didn't come around to ask about refill on coffee with I would have liked. When it came time to ask for the bill our server was engaged in conversation with another table for about 5 mins. Will absolutely be back, just wanted to mention the small crack in the service I fell through.
Nice breakfast spot. I had the salmon Benedict. Tasty and fresh smoked salmon. Nice waitress and bright/fun interior.
Food was decent but more on the expensive side. Hostess checked vaccine passports but had one customer sneak in through the line and I thought she would screen her but just let her go when she definitely saw her cut through the line fully dressed and had her bag so obviously the customer just arrived there. They should do better to protect health of customers coming in especially on a busy day. Servers were great and friendly but food was not worth the price.
