I would first like to say we have been going to the keg for the last 20 years at least 3 to 4 times per year and we always come for our anniversary in August. We have never complained about service or food quality, it is the one restaurant we never have an issue with. Last night our service was sub par. Not sure why as it wasnât very busy. Usually we are treated at our table quite quickly but it took about 8-10 minutes for the server to greet us. We ordered water and a pop for my son. It took about 10 minutes but she did apologize and say they had to change the pop. She took our order and asked if we wanted bread and we said yes. 10 minutes went by and we had our appies but no bread. I asked for bread at that time and she brought it out. Now we were seeing the server too much. She came by 3 times during our appies and when we finished our appies our mains came in about a minute. Potatoes were a bit crusty on top so it seemed like it sat under the heat lamp. Again checked on us 4 times during dinner, we only had water so not really needed. We were in and out of the restaurant in under an hour. We usually like to sit and relax and enjoy a $160 meal but we didnât last night. We did mark that it was our anniversary on the reservation sheet but again first time it was not acknowledged. Like I said first time we have ever had issues but wasnât the greatest and we only come a couple times a year because of the cost so not sure but maybe we look around next time. Thanks Jody

Disappointing experienceâ¦..Server misplaced dinner order. Waited over 1 hour for the main course. Resulting in the table of 4 adult diners forced to quickly eat dinner, before having to leave to catch a ferry. Two steaks over cooked, despite request for Medium rare steaks. Lobster tails were toughâ¦.likely over cooked. Manager explained that despite the order being misplacedâ¦.we would have waited the same length of time, as main dish orders are always submitted After, appetizers & salads are finished?? Explanation was Questionable at best??? After asking Manager for some kind of compensationâ¦.she did not charge for one Dinner and 4 drinks, for which we were grateful.
Husbands birthday
Best server ever. She was very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent. My steak was perfection. Didnât feel rushed to leave. Had a great time with friends.

Service was slow when we first got there. With a reservation we still had to wait 10mins and then after being seated it took 15mins to get acknowledged
