Where is my sauce???Ordered through Uber. Didn't have a chance to check my food. My Greek plate had no sauce. Maybe it was because I checked "non spicy" but that should only mean not adding the hot sauce, not the tahini sauce. Made the dish too dry to eat.
Love getting the Lebanese wraps with hot sauce (recommended by the owner). To be honest, it's not the best thing in the world, but it's good. I might also love it more because it's a nolstagic place I went to with my friends all the time when we were in school.I will agree that the small shop is a bit shabby, but some might say that's when you know the food good. In this case, it's average.The owner and staff are so friendly and nice.Price is average. Yes there are cheaper eats near by, but this isn't overpriced.Warning: not everything on the menu is a hit.
It is a shame that Shawarma Palace has a better location for higher foot traffic, and I admit that I have been there a few times myself, but I keep going back to Tasty Donair for their sauce.Tasty Donair offers a smaller menu compared to their competitor across the street, but in my opinion, this restaurant's sauce selection is what makes this small place special. When ordering food with hot sauce, it is the real deal! The heat followed by the mix of flavors is astounding, and to anyone that is into spicy food, I would highly recommend this place.I have not tried all their options yet, but my go to meal is the Lebanese wrap with extra hot sauce, and sometimes the Turkish plate for their dolma. Each order has been consistent so far with no complaints!
I ordered the original Falafel wrap... The friendly server advised against the original b/c falafel is dry... so I said have at it however you like! She did a variation of Lebanese.Dang, whatever she made was off the charts tasty. I asked for spicy and I'm sweating. Super friendly staff in your average Donair stop with good prices ?
Name say it all. Tried there Lebanese plate. And it was so fresh meet. Lovey customer service. Highly recommend
Very good food, friendly staffs, good price. You have to try the desert. Not too sweet but sweet enough to warm your heart. :)
Used to come here years ago, driving long ways for the Donair. Came recently and it's just not the same. Still good, good sauce and veg seemed fresh but the meat sits in a heating container all day! I got the chicken wrap, it was good but the meat was lacking the texture from being on the Donair spit. It didn't have any of the flavourful crispy bits.
Had the Halifax Beef, and it was gooood. Best my expectations. Will be back for more.
My boyfriend and I went there this evening and the small lady with a light gray hoodie was NOT WEARING A MASK. And she was around all the food and touching ingredients. I wanted to tell my boyfriend let's go to a different place but it was too late because he had to pay at the start. I felt so uncomfortable while they made the food because she was nor wearing a mask and I don't want to risk to my family and dont support her risking others. If she had a medical condition, she should find a job where she's not working with food and people. I felt too uncomfortable to even touch my donair, and i did not want to cause a scene by asking for a refund, so I had to go to a different donair place which caused stress on us. WEAR A MASK WHEN MAKING FOOD PLEASE! Not coming here again.
