I've been ordering from here every week for years. Simply some sashimi and a side of steamed rice. It was always good. Was. In recent months, the rice has been inconsistent; sometimes slightly undercooked, often too wet. Today, the rice was a mixture of reasonable grains and bland mush. I couldn't finish it. However, the sashimi has always been good, so dinner will be ok after all, right?Wrong. The hamachi had a strong smoky flavour at one end of each piece, which it is not supposed to have. Either it was less fresh or unattractive at source, so was treated with smoke to preserve colour and flavour; or it was contaminated during preparation at the restaurant. Sashimi is all about showcasing the true flavour and texture of the fish. It was not pleasant, having a tasty end and an overpoweringly smoky end. There are two things I cannot do: firstly, I can't give them only one star because the servers give excellent, welcoming, friendly customer service every time. That can't be faulted. Secondly, I can't order from Sushi Castle again. The gradual decline in quality and pride has lost them a long term, regular customer.

Everything was great, except for the chicken teriyaki rolls - those just tasted like microwaved chicken with sauce drizzled over it. Skip the teriyaki rolls - many other menu items that are much better (salmon sushi and the cucumber avocado rolls were good).

Some of the worst sushi I've ever had. I placed a call and asked for extra teriyaki sauce but it still came as dry as a bone, hardly any rice, and the chicken is so chewy. The dynamite roll literally falls apart as you try to pick it up and the miso soup is cold. The quality doesn't match the prices at all.

To begin with, Amazing Service is one of the reasons I continue coming back to this store again and again. Another is the cheap price. A California Roll will cost you about $4-5 CAD. A full meal for myself and one other person usually is no more than $20. The staff is friendly, and always willing to help, always giving service with a smile. The store itself is clean and well decorated. It's a pleasure to be in and I've never felt that it has been dirty. The food itself is of fairly good quality. It isn't top tier, spectacular sushi, but it is of good quality, especially for the price you pay for it.Overall, highly recommend this Restaurant if you're in the area and like Sushi. One of the best experiences in a sit-down sushi restaurant I've had in a while.

Look at this ?Never seen such a big sushi roll. It was so fresh an incredibly tasty.I can highly recommend to go eat at Sushi Castle in Morgen Crossing.

This place was very smokey and cramped inside and it was hard to eat in. The rolls had a lot of rice and the fish tasted fishy. For a place at Morgan Crossing, I expected a little more. The server was very friendly and everything was quick. No complains about that.

their sashimi pretty fresh but keep in mind tho sometimes may changed depending on the day. But we ordered couple times not bad. Will continue ordering

Love coming here for my break! Take out is speedy if I don't have much time and dine in is always a great experience too ? the sushi is consistently very good. I dined in today, it was a very cold day and they were serving a hot tea that was sooooo good! I wish I asked what it was cause I want more ? the staff is all so friendly and welcoming and do very good with following covid safety guidelines. I definitely recommend going here!

Amika offered very friendly and attentive service. 5 stars for that! The special rolls is good value, but heavy and greasy unfortunately.
