My family enjoyed the kare-kare, liempo, pork sinigang, laing, and bistek. The ingredients are fresh. The meat cuts are tender and good quality. Food is tasty without being too salty. Price is reasonable. Staff are friendly and courteous. Will definitely return. Highly recommended for comfort food served in a no-frills space.

4 1/2 stars, not just 4 stars. I have been to a number of Filipino restaurants in the lower mainland, and IMO this small, inconspicuous restaurant is probably the closest to authentic Filipino food that you can get. Prices are very good, selection is good, and I think there are also things separate from the menu that you can order for special occasions. This place is a must-try if you’re looking for something more authentically Filipino.
