Tried this place for the first time and it has to be one of the BEST Banh Mi shops I've tried. Ordered one Lemongrass Chicken Combo (veg spring roll) and a Lemongrass Pork Combo (pork spring roll) for the wife.The baguettes were nicely toasted, all ingredients fresh, and the sauces they use are so savoury. WILL be ordering again.This is truly a Banh Mi Factory! As I waited I observed the 3 staff just hammer out sandwiches: several delivery drivers arrived to collect what must've been 6-8 sandwiches each. I was amazed as my order didn't take too long either.

Great spot, kind of in a random spot and it's a small location but the lemon grass chicken Bahn mi was fantastic!Fast and friendly service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good Vietnamese sub.
Have visited this location a few times before and this is the first time I’ve seen such a lapse in food-handling precautions. Today the girl behind the counter with a red hat had several sneezing fits and not once de-gloved, washed her hands or switched out to new gloves. Her mask worn beneath her nose. I wanted to cancel my order but a new staff member had come to assist in preparing sandwiches and ended up prepping mine. The person who ordered before me got a sneeze full in their banh mi. Safe food-handling should be paramount for any food business during the pandemic. Sadly won’t be returning
Can't be beat for the price, excellent banh mi at a great price. Definitely a local Surrey gem. I only wish they open for later, so I would have enough time to grab a bite after work.
Very fresh and authentic banh mi. The portion is very generous. Must try the special cold cut banh mi.

Good price, delicious, fresh, and healthy. I'm really happy with everything. I ordered a vietnamese xiu Mai and the flavors worked perfectly together. I could taste each ingredient rather than it being just a slather of sauce. I didn't think I'd like the parsley in it but it gave it a really refreshing kick too.
A Hidden gem.Clean and cute interior with modernized menu and point system. This is a gold mine dor bahn mi lovers in the city. Toasty and crunchy bread with savoury and delicious sandwiches. The vietnamese coffee (iced) hit me nice and hard with a good amount of caffeine and flavour.Will come back for more.
I went to Obamhmi in Surrey on Friday evening. June 25, 2021, 5:00 pm. While I was waiting for my two Vietnamese sandwiches made,...I noticed that the one female staff was not handling the food with extra care to prevent cross-contamination. She seemed to be busy at the time making the sandwiches, answering the phone and taking the payments...all while making the sandwiches with the same gloves. No changing gloves in between or even washing her hands. Then a second female staff came up to the front to help and used the gloves that the other staff was using. Why didn't she put on brand new gloves? Certainly, that was not a food-safe practice. The front counter where the sandwiches are made seems such a tight tiny area to have two staffs cramp in there to make sandwiches. It doesn't look like a healthy and or safe area for handling food because it's so close to the cashier/payment machine. The store should think about expanding that front area and ensure that changing gloves/washing hands be a top/strict priority when handling food, especially with the current pandemic we are in. I saw one of the female staff stepped away from making the sandwiches. She took off her gloves to go in the back and then came back to the front to pull the buns out of the oven with her bare hands and didn't put gloves on. I called her out on that and expressed that it didn't meet food safety standards in serving the public and that she needed to throw those buns away. She didn't seem to see the importance of that. Put yourself in the customers' shoes...would you want to eat food when the person didn't wear gloves and crossed contaminate the food?....where is hand washing? I was turned off and won't be going there again. Someone can get seriously sick. I hope they threw away those buns that were not handled properly. Fairly disappointed as I love their Vietnamese sandwiches.
