I come here cause my parents absolutely love it, specifically my mom :)That being said… I agree; it’s def one of the best dosa spots in Surrey (maybe even Vancouver)Wait times for dosa orders can be long, I wish they would bring out all food at once, instead of one plate at a time. However, it’s authentic af and tastes fantasticThe staff is super accommodating and nice, as per usual, I would come again!
We tried this south indian place for the 1st time. Enjoyed all the dishes which we ordered. We tried idli sambhar, rava onion dosa, poori bhajji, onion uthappa, rasam wada. All were amazing. The sambhar was nice but different, I guess not which a mumbaikar like me is used to it and I am sure all mumbaikars will agree with it but I liked it though. Rasam was amazing as well and dosas were soft and nicely cooked. Overall enjoyed the south indian dishes here and the poori bhajji was nice too so I guess other cuisines will be good too.
1.4k reviews & 4.2 star rating?! Is everyone in surrey crazy? You guys all have horrible taste that's for sure. I decided to give it a try and it's absolutely horrible. I can cook better at home. The soup was horrible and so was the tomato rice. The prices are ridiculously high for such tiny amount of soup and rice. Never again.
My family and I eat here often as the food is spectacular! The staff at Mayuri ensure to treat their customers more like family. On one particular occasion, my family and I were having dinner and the server noticed my mom was unable to eat her food (it was too spicy for her given a medical condition and she could not enjoy her food). He was so concerned that he went to the chef and asked them to prepare her another meal, without our knowledge. We were so appreciative, to say the least. This restaurant truly values their customers and are very humble and hospitable. I highly recommend Mayuri!
Delicious South Indian food on the menu. Ask for mild medium or hot spice level at ordering. I like Dosa taste fresh and sauce taste creamy and our order was perfect. Plenty of parking and cozy relax ambience. North Indian items are also on menu. The coffee they have is authentic South Indian styled filtered coffee, a must try. Cheers!
Tip: Even if you know your South Indian food well, ask for the server's/host's recommendation. Trust me the things they recommend are 10/10.Loved the food, really liked the service. Liked how the seating was appropriately distanced and sanitized. Visit!!!
I ordered onion rava masala dosa and ask them to put extra onions. Instead of extra onions there was no onions present. Disappointed.
Good food! Would recommend visiting at least once - we love their rava dosa :) I however did not like their filter coffee. It lacked the frothing and was overall just okay.
Mayuri has been my go-to place for South Indian cuisine for over 5 years now! They never disappoint. The food tastes amazing and their price point is very affordable (food for 4, with masala chai’s, were just a little over $45!). The customer service is great, I have always been treated politely and have never had to wait long periods of time waiting for my food to arrive! I would highly recommend it to all of you to try them out ?
Delicious vegetarian cuisine. Have been going for several years. We especially love the Gobi Manchurian, dosas, and rice dishes. Kind service and always a great experience.
