Order these small and expensive portions from this restaurant on SkipTheDishes last night. I don’t understand why people give high scores from SkipTheDishes. I don’t think I will come back to eat at this restaurant. Also not much variety choices for sushi rolls. I am rather choose other better portions and variety choices of sushi restaurants.
Until a few days ago, sashimi and sushi were delicious, so I visited often, but I was disappointed today. Sashimi is a rag, and sushi is not delicious. Fish is small and there is a lot of rice, so I threw away everything.Lining again.and than rolls is expensive. thempra is dirty.
We've dined-in and order takeout here several times and we found the food good, tasty, fresh, clean dining + bathroom, and good service. Price was shaky but with very few sushi choices what can you say.But this last takeout was terrible! The portion size for the 2 Yaki soba teriyaki chicken we order was awful, you could literally could count the number of chicken slices ontop on the noodles; the pitful number of vegetables; Over sauced mess of a meal. It feels like, looks like nothing IT IS NOTHING! It seem you guys cooked one batch and too save you rationed it into both. One serving for two.Also the beef yaki soba was the same! The thin beef no vegetable oversauce mess!Both tasted okay. Warm.Udon was just noodles, and a pathetic broth. Some assortment of veggies. And oddly, it had a lot of beef. Hm.The sushi was literally the only redeeming factor. Tasted good and fresh still to this day. Everything else seem to go down.We had far more reasonable and fair experiences at other japanese sushi restaurants.
Ive been coming here for a few years now. The quality of every dish has always been consistently amazing. I prefer the sushi here to other dishes. The service is always on point and the staff are always friendly even if they are very busy. They take all safety precautions as well when it comes to covid. I will always recommend this place to anyone who asks where is the best sushi in surrey.
Service was good. Food was good except the fact they gave us under boiled edamame. Almost felt like Costco microwaved packets. 6-8 minutes in boiling salted water, no brainer. Regardless, the pods were clearly under and barely breakable and the beans weren't tender. I let them know. They took my half remaining away and still charged me. At least reboil or give them back. I only mentioned it. I noticed they even took the bill back off our table and reissued a new bill making me think they probably discounted the beans and then decided against it. Like really. I'm a red seal Chef with over 30 years in the industry. The beans issue wasn't a big deal. The action of how they handled it is my issue. They probably were thinking "they eat half now they complain" bad move. We won't be back.
The waitress is really nice and accommodating, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Decent amount of food for the price. I would definitely recommend!
Lovely small restaurant, with excellent food & service. We had various lunch combos and liked them all. Several unusual sushi rolls - different but very tasty! The servers were all charming.Definitely go again!

Ordered a deep friend spicy tuna roll to go and this is what I got…Looks like some small child’s leftovers. It was cold and disgusting 10/10 do NOT recommend.My food also stinks. 0 stars
