We ordered the butterfly cascade cake with a lavender frosting and I was simply enchanted by how beautiful it looked. The cake was not only pretty and tastefully adorned with butterflies but it was one of the best vegan cakes we’ve had. Rich, not too sweet and melt in your mouth texture. To add to the pleasure of eating we discovered the butterflies were edible too! Thank you for making my daughters birthday extra special!
We ordered a two tier Naked Floral & Macs Cake in the colours white and lavender from them for our wedding. My wedding colours were light blue and lavender and it fit in perfectly with everything else. I was absolutely stunned when I saw the cake at my wedding reception, it was more than perfect! It was one of the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen, I would so recommend getting your cake for your wedding here. Plus the flavour was to die for, everyone was gushing about it, saying how it is the best wedding cake they have ever had! We have lots saved froze for our one year anniversary! I already can't wait to eat it again! 100% recommend!
one of the best bakeshops in the area ! i love buying the 4pc pastry pack and seeing what new desserts i get :) they’re always new and exciting + the price is shockingly low considering the quality of the desserts in this pack ! the macarons are my absolute favourite though, similar to the pastry pack, the flavours switch up every now and then so i’m never bored, but they’re always delicious ! the packaging is perfect and tightly conceals products, i haven’t had any issues with damaged pastries when ordering through skipthedishes/uber eats, and the boxes make them perfect for gifts (would totally recommend for anniversaries or even cute picnic photos lol)
Absolutely delicious cupcakes! We were in the area and decided to pop by. The service was friendly and efficient but the cupcakes stole the show! Incredibly flavorful and moist. We'll definitely be coming back for more sweet treats.
Can't say enough positive things about this bakeshop. The cakes are amazing, the pastries are beautiful and tasty and the cake jars are great to have in our house. Have never lucked out in getting the cardamom dessert in the cake jars. We did have it one time where we received the wrong cake jars but they were very quick in fixing the issue
Ordered my mom's cake from here and I love how easy it is to make a request through their website. The cake turned out so beautifully and the delivery was also fast and it was handed to me very well. Will order here again!
I do find it interesting that so many people are complaining about the “the sweetness, to much sugar, too rich?” If you’re looking for low calorie basic cake, this is not the place for you! I absolutely love the unique pastries, rich flavours and combinations of textures and layers! This is my sweet tooth heaven!!! Keep up the amazing work team!!
This is a review for the Just Cakes vending machine. It came up advertised on instagram so I drove out to try it and it was completely empty (with the exception of 3 small jars). $8 for a tiny jar of it. There are no expiry dates. I’m not sure how long it’s been sitting there as there were only 3. I messaged them online and waited 5 hours but didn’t have a response so I decided to just check it out.I totally get being low on stock but if I were able to successfully contact someone before I went I’d have happily waited til they restocked.
I never posted review before but just want to write my very honest review. I love cake and sweet in general so I’m always hunt good sweets! Very disappointed with their cakes considering they specialize on cakes.. I had higher expectations after seeing the positive reviews and the images of their cakes but the texture and flavours of the cakes were just same as other other cheaper places. We bought few cakes and cupcakes but there were dry and cream and icing were far from soft and too sweet. Oh I tried their cake jar too, kind of knowing it won’t be that good and yes it wasn’t amazing.. their cakes and packaging are pretty and appealing though! I honestly can’t find decent cake in Surrey... I wish I can find cakes like Thierry has...or even Breka bakery...
Most delicious cake jars! When I went, the line was out the door and definitely worth it! The owner is a GEM, such a genuine person. I've also had the pleasure of having 3 cake jars shipped to me in Alberta. SO YUMMY!
