Food fresh & clean ... Fantastic options. Beautiful & creative presentations .. favorite dynamite roll I've ever had lol know its one of the simpler rolls but had it other places that wouldn'tget it again... plus they use real ginger? not the pink stuff lol ... but that's a 50/50 gamble with sushi lovers lol... . Hanaya is our go-to sushi restaurant when we have out of town guests too. Show off a little of BC ?
What I've noticed is that the ramen in Surrey is very hit or miss. Most restaurants serve you something that's closer to udon or instant noodles and charge you $15 for a bowl.However, my experience with Hanaya was quite different. Broth was rich, and the meat was tender. I could've done without all the veggies, but that's more of a personal preference. This is by far the best ramen I've had since moving to surrey. Also, the quality of the rolls was quite good and presentation was nice. I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the menu was just as good.Definitely a pleasant surprise. Will definitely order again
When I feel like sushi, I always order from Hanaya. The food is incredible, the value is great, and delivery is always stellar. Food is always hot on arrival! Best sushi place around for me!

We ordered appetizers, ramen ? and sushis. Appetizers were great, prepared well, and came quick. Tonkotsu ramen was adequate, but the charsu pork meat was not what I expected. The meat was probably boiled or lightly cooked and then grilled, and it did NOT have the soft, melt-in-your-mouth feel to the meat. Rather, the meat was chewy and very hard to eat. I've lived in NYC and know what good ramen is like. Sushis were delicious and wonderful. Service was outstanding as the handsome waiter came back many times and asked us how we were doing and if we needed anything else. I believe the owner came by also. Great service!
The staff are always very attentive and very nice. The food is very constant and always amazing
