Edit* to respond to the owner. This review I am leaving is a late one. We came during the holiday season, I may be incorrect on the hours however the timing is correct. We had reservations and we were not seated for almost 45minutes-1 hour and when sat at a table upstairs ! I believe you have a downstairs seating area and upstairs? Right? We sat and waited with no waiter/waitress to serve us nothing but one round of drinks and we never got to order any food as no one returned to help us. The staff admitted to short staff issues. We ended up leaving and never ordering any food. The experience was a bad one enough that just recently we were searching for Greek restaurants to dine in and I recalled this. Never been back. Our friends heard good reviews and wanted us to dine here. Unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience. Sorry for the incorrectness of the hours of operation. But yea we did wait and ended up leaving and never eating.

Let me start by saying, I love the food here. It is tasty and delicious! What the store lacks is the efficiency of the customer service. Unfortunately yesterday we took a family of 7 for dinner here with reservations for Father's day and the service was short. The waitress barely came by we waited 1.5 hours for our food and the table behind us ended up leaving because they had ordered just behind us and still hadn't been served their food. I understand times are tough and Staffing may be difficult but there is no reason to fill the restaurant if you are unable to provide the customer service required. Unfortunately the reason provided by management was not valid and this left the table behind us quite upset an unfortunate loss.. I will return but not on holidays or busy nights as I fear the same thing will happen again as mentioned in previous comments.

We haven’t been to the restaurant in years. The service and salad starter was excellent but found the food flavourless. We tried the George’s platter for two but took most of it home to re-work it. That said we were happy to see the restaurant full to what appears to be pre-pandemic levels.

My family was celebrating my mom's birthday and every one of us had a great experience here. Great food (that arrived very timely). Very warm atmosphere. And FANTASTIC service. Our waitress Agnes was out of this world: super friendly and cheerful, efficient, knowledgeable and went over and beyond to make us happy. Even my very serious 9 month old was smiling at her! Honestly, i cannot wait to be back!

Seating quickly, order taken and received salad quick. That is pretty much the only positive I can give. There were 6 of us for mother's Day which I understand would be busy however didn't receive our meal for 90 mins. Absolutely ridiculous! The ladies bathroom was disgusting. Only one toilet working out of 3. Filthy, water and paper everywhere. Waitress was terrible would ask one person if they wanted a refill of drink get the answer and walk away without acknowledging the rest of the table. We had to run after her twice. Messed up my our bills and then doesn't allow us to enter in our own tip into the machine. She held the machine, then asked if we wanted to give her 18 20 or 25 percent. Obviously 18. Would have given her 15 if I had a choice. Will not be back.

Always thought of Galini's as a decent Greek restaurant, but was very disappointed with our most recent outing. It seems Covid has brought down the quality. We invited 8 people for my birthday who had never been there before. First: no soup. I've always enjoyed their soup. Ok, no big deal, but first letdown. 2nd letdown: the chicken parmesan. Completely uninspired, I would only have been impressed with it if my 11 year old niece had made it at home for me. Certainly not something any restaurant should be proud to serve. The 3rd letdown was when friends at the other end of the table told me their seafood platter was "meh". It seems as though Galini's has gone downhill fast & cant be recommended highly anymore. Sad.

Our Family and friends have been visiting Galini’s for many years. I would not hesitate to say that the ownership, staff and atmosphere are second to none.Every meal we’ve ordered has alway been absolutely fantastic. Prepared and served with perfection. If happy hour becomes a new addition, I see myself enjoying a few cocktails and some appetizers at the bar.Love your Restaurant and looking forward to our next visit.Your biggest fan. Cheers?

Visiting in Abbotsford and met at this restaurant with our son, daughter in law and her mother. Great selection of Greek food. Excellent service (thanks Jenny). We had lamb which is likely a specialty. The place was fairly busy but we got seated easily. Not inexpensive but we felt it was worth it.

We went for dinner to Galini for the first time last night and it was excellent! The food was delicious and the service was top notch. They were so busy, we got the last table, and it was nice to see a restaurant doing so well especially during these crazy times. Thanks - we will be back soon for sure!

Very good and authentic Greek food. The platter for two is good value as it’s enough food for more than two people. The selection is great to. Everything I’ve tried is full of flavour and cooked well. Even the rice is just as good as the main meat part of the dishes. I recommend the chicken and beef souvlaki as well the moussaka. The potatoes are one the best
