The food was excellent, beer was not that cold, service was not that attentive. It was warm inside, so just be aware that they don't have air conditioning. Went there to watch UFC with friends, UFC feed kept cutting out, I am not sure if that is even under their control, but friends watching at home told me they didn't have problems. It is a decent place, but we might be watching UFC elsewhere.
What a disaster, first the waitress dumped a glass of OJ all over my wife, the service was bad, then the food came the bacon looked and tasted like plastic, the Benedict eggs where hard like they been sitting for a while and what pest me off the most was that they wanted $75 for the meals, that wasn't worth $30. I felt like I was assaulted because the manager offered me a 10% discount that doesn't even pay for the dry cleaning of my wife, I ended up paying $69 dollars. This place it's not worth stopping. Better food and cheaper all over Langley except at the fox and fiddle, not fun at all. The manager sure had excuses for the experience. So be advised bad service, bad food and a manager that thinks that we are all idiots. the experience that my daughter 9 years old, my wife, my colleague and I experienced in this placeI will not recommend this place even to my worst enemies.
Young lady that waited on us was excellent and so friendly.....BUT the prices for food are crazy high. Would go back for a beer during happy hr but will skip on the food.
Server had a real bad attitude. Almost like she thought she was to good to be my server. Food is mediocre at best. No chance it reflects the price that’s for sure. If you’re staying at the hotel, go a block down the street either way and there are way better restaurants to go to. Even the hotel staff doesn’t recommend eating here…
Service was good, they had new cooks so food wasn't served as president in the menu. But overall we enjoyed the meal and portions were very good for the price.
Just recently went to this establishment, the service was decent. However, many errors were made I ordered wings that were cold and the wrong flavour was given. However after explaining the situation to the server, they still charged us for two pounds of wings.
We decided to have a Guinness and Irish food for St Patrick’s day. This was our first visit to Fox and Fiddle in Langley and we we’re pleasantly surprised. Great food, lovely staff and a fun atmosphere to celebrate the day!
Food is good, and decently priced. Lots of parking, always friendly staff. When we went, kitchen was incredibly slow. Past visits have been no problem.
10% discount bait and switch tactics, $25 for a kids mealWe have two children, 6 and 7 years old. Slow service trying to get a kids’ menu. (It wasn’t given automatically at the beginning… just adults’ menus for everyone.) So anyway, finally got the kids’ menu. Kids’ meals are $9, but no hamburger on the kids’ menu. Our 6-year really wanted a plain burger with just ketchup. The waitress said that would be fine. Came out to costing adult burger prices. Furthermore, the kids’ meal was supposed to include a drink. Our boy asked for chocolate milk. Charged us $3.50. Only when the bill comes do they tell us that kids’ meal drinks are only pop… milk is $3.50. Asked for tomato on the burger… came in at $1.50 extra. All told, the kids’ burger ended up costing $25. Also, as guests of the adjoining hotel, we were told we’d get 10% off our meal. Yet, when they calculated it on the bill, the discount was only given on each basic meal before any add-ons or upgrades. And not on any drinks, etc. We brought our concerns up to the management and basically, they said that the restaurant has to make money somehow and they can’t be giving things away for free. They aren’t transparent with all the added costs and the fact that the discount promised won’t be applied to the final bill. I’m very embarrassed for this restaurant. What a shame. The restaurant itself is very nice and the food is more than adequate, but for the way they treat customers, I just wouldn’t come here out of principle. Sad.
Really strange experience - server had a bad attitude. Food was ok but was taken away by upset server. We complained that the 3 small tortillas served with the fajitas followed by an additional order of 2 more small tortillas (for a charge) did not make sense for the portion of chicken etc served. I am not a complainer (see my previous posts) but just a bad situation there. The bartender did a good job of diffusing the situation but it was far from necessary that it happened at all. Stay away - there are so many restaurants in the area - no need to go to this restaurant.
