It is very difficult to find halal food in B.C. I come from Montreal where there are a lot more options, when I found Fab Burger, I was delighted! When we walked in, the manager and staff greeted us so kindly, additionally, they made us very good food.I highly recommend anyone to go to Fab Burger, their staff are very friendly and they make very good high quality food!
I was expecting to be wowed from the reviews, but honestly the burgers are not the best. They are spicy too, so many people would not like that part. The only burger that is not spicy was the chilly cheese steak burger. The poutine was not good at all. The fried chicken burger was my favorite (also spicy). Not the top burger spot I have gone to at all.The workers there are super nice and helpful.
One the best halal burgers I had in the recent times. The owner is a gentleman with great attitude and respect for his customers. I went there yesterday for the first time and loved the food and service. Waiting for you to be on the island!
Juicy burgers.Ultimate Fab is my all time favourite. Their wings and short ribs are also very tasty.A good-to-know: in any burger you can substitute any patty for any other patty i.e. you can substitute a beef patty for a chicken and vice versa.
Went to this place, it was nice and quiet, just 1 other family there. There were many takeaways. Staff are friendly and fast.They have kids burger on the menu too. We ordered Onion rings, special fries, lamb chop meal (comes with plain fries salad and 2 PC's of nice soft garlic bread), monster burger(double patty- one beef and one chicken/, Philly cheese steak, fab classic with chicken and another was fab classic with beef. They had another burger which is a triple beef patty Burger ?Nice place, has parking outside, but it was full. It's halaal for those who need to know. The place is open till late 3a.m so convenient for a late night meal/ quick bite.
We just went to Fab burger last night and had a wonderful experience. We landed from Toronto last night and came straight here. The food is fresh & the wings are SOO good!! The owner is super nice and accommodating. Highly highly recommend
The service was fast, the place was clean and tidy, the person helping us was smiling and friendly. The food was delicious, we ordered the chicken burger, the philly-stake burger, and the supreme. They were all very good. The fries were crunchy and the poutine was delicious. Best of all, it was all halal.
My friends and I order here alot as it is convenient and on the way to our evening job. We had numerous issues. Countless times where our order was completely wrong or missing whole meals.Tonight had to be the worst: for reference if the owners see this: our order number is 70443, our receipt was printed February 18th, 2022 at 7:59 p.m. Today we had ordered 1 order of buffalo hot sauce wings, 1order of honey garlic wings, 1 order of mozzarella wings, and 2 pop cans. We had ordered on call for pick up and the lady repeated the order correctly. When we came to pick up we were charged $54.71. We asked for a receipt and sure enough they charged us for The Ultimate Fab Burger Meal ($17.98) WHICH WE NEVER ORDERED AND WAS NEVER MENTIONED. I explained to the lady who was working there that we never ordered that and it took her 10 minutes to understand this and give us a refund. Then we get to our car and sure enought they messed up one of the wings. Instead of Honey Garlic I received what seemed to be some sort of Sweet Chilli wings (for reference I have ordered the honey garlic wings 4 times before and these were not the same). We were too tired and fed up to go back to complain again.To be honest it seems like more of a staffing issue as our order is always messed up when the two females are working never when the male is working alone. Today we had to call twice to place our order as they put the phone down and ignored us the first time. The second time we could hear someone else ordering from behind so I am left to assume the person taking our order confused ours with the other person in the background.Just a heads up for anyone who wants the poutine, there is huge inconsistency as they seem to add more gravy when they are running low on cheese in order to compensate and it tastes more salty at times.
I love supporting mom/pop shops and FAB Burger falls within this category.But besides supporting business owners, there's not much to love about the food.Swiss Mushroom Burger - way too much mayo, burger was dry.Chicken Wrap - no flavour. I ate the chicken pieces alone, no flavour. My fault for getting a wrap at a burger joint but dam, this was bad bad.Honestly , the burger business is so competitive. I wanted this to be better but it's just not there. I am not going to name close by competitors because I don't want to give those businesses free marketing but there are definitely better burger places close by.
