The service was not what use to there. Tea arrived without cream by the time we got someoneâs attention for the cream the tea was cold so returned it for another and asked both cream and sugar arrive same time as the tea. Everyone enjoys the food and felt it was very good!
It was Prime Rib Saturday- I ordered mine to be Medium Rare, my husband's Medium- when our meals arrived. my Prime Rib was well done , my husband's was so well done it looked grey. We sent the meals back immediately. We then ordered chicken wings and roasted Brussel Sprouts. The celery that came with the chicken wings was so old, the strings that run through the celery were reddish brown and the celery was wrinkled and obviously very old. Our server was very sweet and apologized several times. I doubt very much we will ever waste our time going there for a meal again. It was without a doubt the worst meal I can ever recall dining out. We have dined there many times, but never again. Our entire meal was waived. however, we would have much preferred to have eaten decent food.
Northview is fantastic all around. I am a regular there but took my family from UK they also loved it. Our service was amazing.
The menu has changed. Many of our friends are disappointed in the new chef and his choices. I had jumbo scrimp which was good but the sauce has been changed.
Dined on the outside patio. For the majority of the time there was a gentleman sitting with his friends, that was loud and obnoxious, swearing throughout. Very difficult to enjoy our dinner. Although open to the public, behaviour was unacceptable. Would not have stayed if we had family with us. Otherwise it was as expected.
Lovely lunch on the patio, we enjoyed the Cobb salad and the seafood sandwich. Both were delicious.
A group of us meet twice a year to celebrate at Northview - in December for Christmas and in July for the beginning of summertime. We used to meet in the formal dining room but we also thoroughly enjoy our time at Duffeyâs Grill. The ambience is lovely, itâs spacious, the service is excellent and the food is very good - especially the hamburgers. We love it and will continue to make memories there. We highly recommend it as a hidden gem in Surrey.
