First time here. Ive been eating chinese food for decades and I love it so this is a fair review. Wor Won Ton soup didn't have any seafood like in the picture and the broth had absolutely no flavour, extremely bland. Had two large pieces of pork which was very tasty. Lots of won tons but the filling was very basic compared to many others Ive had. Tried the ginger beef and it was just okay but was drowning in sauce. The cantonese chow mein was just okay, about 3 shrimp, no squid, lots of large chunks of chicken which was tender and moist. Wished the food was more authentic though. I miss having chinese mushrooms, bok choy etc….Picked up 15min before closing and it was still flaming hot when I got home. Portions here not disappointing. Price was average. The service was extremely friendly and consistent with other reviews. Just wished it had more flavour and more authentic ingredients.
The restaurant that we ordered Chinese food from for years was closed so my son recommended Dragon Chop Suey. Not only was it located right in our neighborhood but we found the menu delicious! Portions were generous with real pieces of chicken (white meat). I love their recipe for Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, and Chicken Chop Suey! Friendly service! This restaurant is our new favourite when ordering Chinese food. A real treat!👍
Location claims to offer free delivery within 8km. Because of traffic on Google maps the driver took a longer route, and then charged for delivery despite the fact that the distance to my home from the store is within 8km. Diver comfirmed there was no delivery charge, which was a lie we realized when we found the recipete on the bottom of a bag. Restaurant refused to honour the policy on their website, saying that due to traffic we fell outside of their radius, and then proceeded to blame their driver for the mistake.Order came missing items, and we were charged for items that we did not order. Mediocre experience run by people who will throw other members of their staff under the bus rather than admit fault.
Always fresh and hot, big portions. I’m so glad we found this place.
Sadly they are still not open for dine in but the food is always made fresh, the portions are big and the prices are low. The only Chinese food restaurant I ever eat at.
The food is great. The service is pleasant enough. What’s not great or pleasant is being told a time for when your pickup order will be ready, and waiting anywhere from a half hour to 45 mins on top of that time. This has happened on multiple occasions. I truly feel like this will be my last time ordering from this restaurant, despite liking the food quite a bit. It’s just not worth the frustration and lack of accountability on the part of the staff.
First time ordering, ordered Combo for four. Food was ready in less then 20 minutes and it was hot and delicious. Portions are a good size and the prices are reasonable. Definitely going back again soon.
Such a sweet lady in the front. Went 10 mins before closing and still got served with a big smile. Would definitely recommend and the food is amazing too and reasonable price plus good quantity
It was my first time ordering from this place. I went to pick it up and had a small bit of trouble finding the place. The lady who greeted me was super friendly and we had a bit of a laugh about the place being a bit hidden. She said it was well worth finding it though. You know what? She wasn't wrong. This is the best Chinese food I've had in Surrey! I will definitely be going back. Truly a hidden gem...make sure you find it!
We ordered Shrimp Hakka Chow Mein, Beef fried rice & Manchurian Fish. This was our First take out at this restaurant.Firstly, we were very impressed how well the food was prepared and how tasty it was. Despite our order being a take out and the drive home was roughly 30 min the food was hot . The beef was tender , and rice was very well textured with spices and vegetables. The fish and the shrimp we both well cooked. The chef prepared the food at a mild spice level just as how we ordered it. Lastly, the quantity was very impressive.Both my wife and I are foodies and we enjoyed our dinner. I spoke with a young lady named Raj who took my order. The food was ready in 20 min just as she mentioned on the phone . Good job to the team at the restaurant for an immaculate execution.
