Last day of coupons so burgers (good), fries, milkshake (ok) and blizzards (good) Staff was helpful but looked later and no receipt to check.
Food was very bland and disappointing. I know its fast food, but still :/ the burger patty was overcooked and tough while the bun was soggy and cold. The fries were crispy but quite flavorless, and all the food got progressively less flavorful as the food got colder.I also ordered a strawberry cheesecake blizzard (this is the only blizzard i ever get, for context). The ice cream was thin and liquidy. If they had done the dairy queen "holding the cup upside down before they give it to the customer" thing, it wouldve splat comedically all over the counter. Thats how thin it was. In addition, the cheesecake bits tasted dry, old and gritty. When i asked the person at the desk about it, she huddled together with all her coworkers and then told me that it was perfect and thats how they always serve it. Pretty sus statement imo, cuz ive never had it tasting like that at other locations.All in all, my guess is that this location just has a host of problems, so personally I'd steer clear of it. I havent had an issue with the ice cream at other dairy queens, so "perfect" was a pretty frustrating thing to be gaslit with lol. A quite disappointing waste of $25+
Sometimes when I'm feeling depressed and there is little in the world to cheer me up, a banana split is a lifesaver. Occasionally when my soul is crushed, a pecan mudslide pulls me back from the ledge. Never underestimate the value of a insulin coma inducing treat packed with more calories than are necessary for a small family. Thanks DQ!
In the drive-thru we ordered sea salt toffee fudge and strawberry cheesecake blizzards, the latter with extra cheesecake. When we paid, we double checked the order and the guy confirmed.Instead we got a choco blizzard without ANY bits (just ice cream) and a strawberry cheesecake blizzard without any cheesecake bits. It's fine if the order is incorrect, but don't lie about it straight in my face.This location is normally reliable, but try to avoid it Sunday evenings, as the evening shift seems incompetent.
Tbh, I don’t wanna be a super picky customer cuz also I’ve done a lot of service jobs and I hated picky customers.But this is one of the worst burger I’ve had in Canada.. You guys can do better than this… please look at the attached picture.On top of that even there’s no customer ahead of me, I was standing at the cashier almost 5 minutes. staffs didn’t even say hi, just pretended that I’m not there…. ?
I ordered a flamethrower burger and it was burnt. I went back and they said they would give me a smaller version of the flamethrower because they thought it was fine. After I said I wanted a refund they agreed to give me a new burger. They also said that their grill was on to high once they gave me new burger. Once I got home the burger wasn't burnt but the bun was disgustingly soggy. Staff needs training on how to make burgers. Never going back.
If I could give this location negative stars, I would. They literally mess up my order EVERY TIME! The only reason I even go here is because it's the only one open late near my house. I stay up late every night to work/study and sometimes I just crave blizzards with cheesecake bits/oreo crumbs, but they never get it right for some reason. The same thing happened tonight. I ordered the red velvet blizzard with oreo and cheesecake, but again, no oreo or cheesecake. It's just frustrating that the same thing happens EVERY TIME. Double check your orders ya'll before driving off because I'm sure you'll be disappointed if you don't.
Took forever for them to take my order, I ordered a cone, I drive up to the window, there had been absolutely noone in the drive thru. Two to three cars in the parking lot. I get to the window, noone acknowledges me. I see 4 of the employees talking, not serving, not preparing an order. I wait 5 minutes and finally just drive off. Worst service ever.
Good Blizzard however....The sign outside hasen't been updated. 2 for $7 double or 2 for $5 single not available. BUT IT'S ON THE SIGN ON 152nd!!!!Shouldn't you honor what the sign says....It's not my fault that you are too slow/lazy to update the sign!!!!
Tonight i had gone in and ordered some items to take home. We had an incident with cross contamination so one of my kids had a reaction as he has allergies. I called the store and they were very kind and apologetic even though it was not intentional. My mistake also for not bringing it up to the staff.Terry the manager is such a kind person and goes above and beyond to help his customers.This dairy queen isn't the closest to my home however i will continue to visit this location thanks to Terry.
