Very solid katsu place, not too greasy and well fried most of the time. My only criticism is with the sauce. The house don katsu sauce is just not good. I’ve yet to hear from a person that has actually enjoyed that brown sauce. I would even go as far as saying I prefer the store bought don katsu sauce. I also found the other sauces like the Alfredo too salty. The sauce that I enjoyed the most here was definitely the white one that comes with the chicken katsu. My only concern is that it’s such a basic sauce that honestly looks indistinguishable from store bought tartar sauce. Great katsu, but the in-store sauces need a lot of work. Results: deep fry: 5/5, portion 5/5, sauce 2/5. Overall 4 stars.
I've been here multiple times and the food is consistently great tasting; the staff members are always so friendly and helpful~There's dividers between each table which I personally like to have.Also, I don't know what it is, but the water is super refreshing and the perfect amount of cold?? Haha, must be a specialty
Food wasn't bad, service wasn't as fast as I thought it would be considering there were only three guests in the restaurant. Although, staff were very friendly and welcoming.
I've eaten here about four or five times in the past three years and have yet to be let down. Prompt service, good food, generous portions and reasonable prices. What more can you ask for?I normally go for a pork cutlet meal but have also tried the chicken. Either is good and always fills me up. I'll be back.
Has a nice homemade feel to the place and how the food is prepared. Prices are fine, menu options are somewhat limited outside of the fried options, but to be fair that is their specialty. I like it and would go back for sure to try some new dishes.
Very good food. Got the Garlic pork and chicken cutlet combo with Miso soup. Everything was very well fried and protein inside was still moist and tender. Sides were a good size. I definitely left full & happy.
Too bad the Alfredo cutlet was sold out. But found out Garlic cutlet was another nice one here!
Been to other locations and seems like they all care about the quality they put on the plate.First time ordered food here.Service was good.Food was fresh and taste exactly as we are used to the other locations.Good work!
Dae Ji never fails to disappoint my hungry stomach.The classic cutlets are deep fried to near perfection and let's not forget the kimchi fried rice. Food portions are massive and service is absolutely phenomenal. 100% recommend!
First time trying this place and I really enjoyed it! We ordered the original and cheesy tonkatsu and both were very large portions. The gravy was great, salad was good and the cold macaroni salad was mixed with a bit of kimchi spice flavour. All in all, it was very tasty and we'd definitely go back again for lunch or dinner!
