We decided to come here after being given some poor service at the door of another popular Indian restaurant down the road, and we were greeted by the owner at the front desk and I must say the decor in this restaurant is well done.Our seats were closer to the back of the restaurant not a bad spot as it was a bit more private.The hostess were not very personable and not good at explaining the differences between certain dishes.We had a combination of starters, appetizers and mains and the food was good their naan were soft and yummy. 2 disappointing dishes were the Galouti kebabs and the chicken Karahi.The lamb vindaloo was amazing and the chilli chicken (dry) wow !!I think to run a classy establishment like this certain expectations need to be in place such as attire, the dinner party one booth down had someone in their sandals and sweats and had his bare feet on the bench, it’s not very appealing or appetizing when I have to see someone’s feet while having dinner and the hostess should have said something but didn’t.And come 10:10 we found we were being told last call for kitchen even though they close at 11pm.Wanted to order desert but felt rushed so decided not to get any.Overall the prices and food were great!Service could use some help

My family took me to this restaurant on my birthday. I have never been here before. Honestly I was shocked that I missed an Indian restaurant. My whole experience here was amazing. Specially on my birthday the service and overall music play list they had were fantastic. Namneet served us and she was so full of life and enthusiastic about everything. She not only remember our order properly but had so much patience with my family. I loved the whole experience. I would give this place 11/10 and would recommend this place to my friends and family. I even went back after two weeks with my friends and I was lucky once again to receive the same amazing service and Namneet was there once again to serve us. The atmosphere and the people like Namneet make this restaurant one to remember. Keep it up!!! Thank you again for making my birthday amazing.
The food was exceptional tonight Friday January 21, 2022. Equal to if not better than even home made Indian food we have enjoyed over the years. If you like Authentic Indian food you will love the Curry Lounge. The restaurant is quite beautiful with an upscale yet relaxed vibe. Our servers were professional, very patient and helpful in answering our questions as we decided on our dinner. We chose the Mixed Pakora Platter as our appetizer and it proved a brilliant mix of delicious flavours we plan to enjoy again soon. We chose Lounge Special Kabobs as our main course with Eggplant Bharta, roti and naan. We chose medium to hot seasoning level on our Eggplant Bharta and it was absolutely perfect. Everything was so enjoyable we can’t wait to tell our friends and family about this wonderful restaurant and we can’t wait to return again ourselves. For anyone concerned about Covid, the restaurant is gleaming clean and all safety protocols of masks and distancing were observed by all staff. Also, if you are timid about spices, don’t worry, there are many mild dishes on the menu too as well as a great variety for vegetarians too if someone in your family doesn’t eat meat. 10 out of 10 is our rating, if you go you will see why for yourself.
We ordered take out and the raita we received was moldy and smelly. Obviously they don’t make it fresh. The tandoori chicken was dry and lacked flavour. Definitely not at the standard of other Indian restaurants in Surrey.
