Central city mall is located in center of Surrey, it is really a cool mall. Lots of stored, offices, services etc. You can find big stores like best buy, Walmart, shoppers stop etc and many small stores like saloons, small clothing stores, food court etc.\\n\\nVery convenient location, usually not crowded in the weekdays. Mall is regularly cleaned by the staff so very well maintained. Many times there is Gang of youth, so be careful. :-)\\n\\nStaff was nice and helped us locating a store in the mall.
Mall was clean and the food court was small but had a good selection of choices.\\nWe stopped by Best buy and the escalator and elevator were not working would be very difficult to enter if you had a disability.\\nOverall was a good experience but nothing special...
Gangs of youth frequent this mall and cause all kinds of mayhem. If you're looking for a peaceful visit to the mall don't go here. I saw three fights in under an hour and security was too scared to do anything other than call the police.
Convenient location. Lots of stores are not busy during the day and surprisingly on the weekends.\\n\\nLots of free parking. There is a passport office here that works way better than all the other locations.\\n\\nFood court is not that big and also not so clean. And sometimes you might also not find yourself comfortable due to other people.
Definitely have maturing urban landscape. Lots of interesting people watching, shopping and some nice indoor outdoor pretty upscale bars and eateries. Also office space is where clean well lit and secure.\\nThe light rail comes right overhead so access is super easy. You have to pay for parking other than the mall parking which I think is free.
I have been here many times and i’d say visiting here was decent, they had a food court that was pretty small but it was ok. They also had some decent stores which are pretty good. I’d recommend this place if your going to surrey, but if you live in vancouver or richmond i probably not go here since here are many other better malls around there. Overall it’s a decent place.
The mall is cleaner and feels safer.....change of security helped? Just needs a few more stores but definitely the mall to go for me and my family. Good job.
Was visiting shoppers drug Mart with my Dad when he started feeling light headed. He sat down while I went to the check out. The security guard tracked me down at the till to ask if I wanted him to call first aid. I said he'd probably be okay, finished my purchase, then went back to retrieve my Dad. The security guard was waiting there with him and asking him first aid questions!\\nThat was way beyond the call of duty! We were certainly impressed with the level of care and attention that this man offered to us last night.
I’d give zero stars to this mall if I could. Whoever is the admin to this place is awful. There have been long line ups for passports recently because of the backlog, many people leaving in the next few days have desperately camped outside in the parking lot, in hopes if they come early enough they’ll get a passport before their trip. The admin won’t allow people to sit down while in line , if chairs were brought while camping out people are forced to store them in their cars before stepping inside the mall. People have to stand for hours and hours from the moment the mall opens till passport services closes. Most people in line will have someone hold their spot and go walk around and shop so the businesses in the mall are likely having higher sales than they would on a regular basis. These people in line are in helpless situations and there are even elderly amongst them. Security guards are ordered to walk around and tell people sitting on the floor to get up and stand, you can tell they don’t want to but they are just doing their job as ordered by someone higher up. Admin should focus their attention on trying to advocate to the government to come up with a better system for passport services so there is less of a back log, rather than on how “unprofessional” it looks that people are sitting on the floor. Admin is heartless and I refuse to ever shop inside this mall again and will encourage my friends and family to do the same.
Nice place to see at nights... conveniently located in downtown Surrey. Nice Shopping Mall inside as well.
