Not as fab as I was expecting. It was good but not great. For the price, the portions could have been a bit more generous. We were not allowed to have an empty window seat as it was reserved. In the time that we dined and left , no one used the table.
Extremely disappointed with the entire experience. Booked my daughters 1st birthday party 7 weeks prior to date. Was supposed to be on patio and a private party. GM was let go Assistant manager never returned calls or messages and found out she quit. Both individuals had confirmed the details of the party. Then talked to the Owner, confirmed party was still booked but he did not follow through. Days prior to actual party received an email from an individual I never spoke to stating basically the restaurant is fully booked and we could not have the buffet style appies/dinner and kids entertainment that was going to be a clown which was booked and paid for by my sister in law would not be allowed. Had to cancel 2 days prior to the party. Was extremely embarrassed to call the the 50 guests and advise them it’s canceled bc of the venue. This was also a long weekend and people had made plans accordingly. My daughters 1st bday party was ruined. Never again will I ever use or eat at the restaurant.
Nice spot for when you feeling like some Italian food. Makes it better when it's really nice out in the afternoon/evening.Their calamari appy was very enjoyable to eat. Soft calamari with a nice and light batter. Only thing I would add is more red onions and I'm a happy duck. Sauce added a tangy flavour as well, very much liked.Had the salmon as well. The veggies were all pretty good, broccollini had a nice crunch. Salmon was a little overcooked on the fish side but, the skin was perfectly crunchy.Staff was very attentive and friendly as well.
We love Crescent Beach and we’ve been wanting to eat here. Finally we were able to try this awesome place for our Sunday lunch. I made reservations so they had the best table in the house ready. Right by the window on the second floor is the best table in the house. We also ordered Burata, several pastas, prawns and their Carne pizza. Everything was yummy, the service was superb and the ambience was the best. One of my faves restos now and we will definitely be back!! ?
Our server, actually most staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. Service was very good. We waited quite a while between receiving our starters and mains. The risotto was a little overdone, and I've never seen a Cioppino with potato in it; I've ordered a lot over the years. We found it a bit noisy, but we're coming to understand that that's what counts as ambiance these days. I'll probably give Cotto Al Mare another try, likely a lunchtime pizza on the patio.
Great location. Our orders (pasta) taste good and the price is fair at this location. The seafood is fresh. The size of the appetizer is a bit small. But taste is still good though.
It was fine. Views are stunning of course. The wife had linguine vongole. I had the tagliatelle bolognese. Tastes were fine, wife expected something a little more liquidy. Service was good...
Delicious food, sangria and view! Sunday afternoon, not busy so we got to sit at the window and it was the perfect weather without too much sun! Had the cotto sangria which I liked the berries and had light ice. The carbonara was sooo yum, savory garlicky creamy dish. Only thing I wish they can figure out is how to make sure the pasta don't stick to each other! The ones stuck together are unevenly cooked but the sauce made it all okay lol. The salad was quite watery, but the giant croton was very crispy and interesting. Will definitely be back again! They have some parking behind the building, probably not enough if they are busy.
Celebrated my Mom’s 75th Birthday there last Friday. I don’t normally review a restaurant however, the food and the service was too good not to. There were 10 of us each thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was incredible! We found all of the employee’s so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant as it goes way beyond it’s beautiful view.
We arrived early for a 4:15 reservation and we were able to be seated early, outside with a great view. Our server Taric was just great. His recommendations were spot on. He shared his love for the food and explained the pastas were all home made. Two of us had the Penne Pollo Pesto & one had Tagliatelle Carbonara, they were so deliciousl Both dishes quite different than what we ususally experience but wow what a pleastant surprise. This was our first time there and we will be back. We will also try their restuarnt in Buranby.
