Food flavour and quality has fallen sharply. Used to love this restaurant. Too much MSG. Not enough flavour. I will not go back.
It's been a long time that I haven't been here since pandemic started. But I have always preferred to come here for a cleaner vibe of a Chinese restaurant. It's not that much spicy as it should be with Schezuan cuisine but I believe you can request to amp that level of spiciness. I love their mango pudding and the stir fried green beans. We ordered #12, beans, stir fried rice, half roasted duck with crepes. For the two of us we spent $100+
Excellent service, freshest quality, and superb interior design of all the Ching Qing locations. The tea was some of the best I've ever had. Dim Sum #6 fresh and steamed perfectly!! Quality worth the price. ?
Quality has gone down. Food tasted stale and hard today. Staff doesn’t care if you voice a concern. Prices have gone up and quality down. Have been Dining here since they opened up in Burnaby, Robson,Commercial and surrey for years. Last 4 visits this year have been very disappointing. I hope they return to the great quality and customer service they once had.
If you know what to order, you can experience authentic Szechuan Chine Food here. Large, clean restaurant with a small separate party room. A but pricy compared to most Chinese restaurants but their Dim Sum is reasonable and good. Great place for small groups too
I ordered vegetarian hot and sour soup but the soup base is thick and dark. Not taste good. Order duck lettuce wrap, taste good. Overall the food taste okay. Little bit pricey!
I would definitely recommend ChongQing. They have such delicious food. My husband and I come here a lot for dinner. Their food is really awesome and the food comes out pretty fast too. The staff are very nice and sweet. My favorite thing to eat here is the chicken corn soup, it's always so good. You can either eat in or dine out. You get a lot of food for the price. You should definitely come and try their amazing food.
Went here on Jan 25 to celebrate our dad's 94th birthday. The food was great that night. Sometimes it is a hit and miss but this night it was spot on. The beef, ginger, green onion hot pot was so good. I also recommend the tan tan noodles!
Always great food in the Surrey Restaurant. Always on time and always great tasting. This is more of the authentic Chinese food, with great options to choose from. One of the best calamari dishes I've ever had. Ordered on New Years Eve and only had an hour wait.. and the staff were working their butts off that day. Was nice to see great management organise a day that was incredibly chaotic and the food was amazing.
They do not work for skip so they only provide their own delivery drivers, they did not read the instructions I attached to my order (even included my phone number in case they got lost) and totally abandoned my food somewhere else! I hope skip can provide my refund and my time refunded by this restaurant, I waited over 2 hours my food to be delivered!(Edit)I just got my food now, although it is like 50 min or more late, the food portions are big and taste good
