I’ve been dining at this restaurant for over 10 years alongside my family and I’ve never had an issue. Unfortunately, this time I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service.I had ordered one chili chicken for takeout, because I’m fasting. And so I take it home to eat, and I noticed that it was the highest level of spice I’ve ever had, (even though I told them to write a note to make sure it’s mild. ) It was also extremely tough to bite and almost rubber like. I called them and it was shocking as to what they responded, the (manager or owner) really asked us how much we ate of it, which was less than half. And refused to make us a new one, even if it was just one order! They also demanded we bring that half that we didn’t eat, which was preposterous. They ALSO, told us that we would have to pay HALF of the new order that we wanted which was so wrong. I’ve never had such an unprofessional and rude complain call in my life. I had been fasting the whole day, and they made the mistake! Yet they refused to help us out. How extremely disgusting.
Tried this place for the first time. Ordered Spring Rolls and Hakka Chicken Chow Mein.Pros:Spring rolls were crispy and very flavourful, they had a very hand made taste and style to them. A+Hakka Chicken Chow Mein: Also very flavourful, the noodles were delicious and slightly oily. The chicken well cooked. I only ate half for dinner and it was just as tasty and fresh the next day after a bit of reheating.10% off pick up orders (main dishes only) helps as well.They were pretty busy inside when I went, sign of a good restaurant.Cons: Can be a bit hard to find.
Overall food quality and taste was good. Will order again. Prices went up and portion sizes went down. I guess its because of Covid. Sweet and sour soup was meh, the chicken in it kinda smelled a bit old.
The food was delicious. Staff was very accommodating for allergies and was in general very nice people. Lovely experience and great service. Recommend the “hot and sour soup” and the “crispy beef”.
We usually do takeout from this restaurant. The pandemic also meant it was closed for only take out for most of last year. This was the first in person lunch experience. The food was good especially the appetizer, chicken dumpling in spicy garlic sauce. The mains of schezwan chicken fried rice and eggplant in black bean sauce were aptly spiced, the rice slightly spicier. The food as usual didn't disappoint. Don't go for the ambience, just the food and go hungry as the portion sizes are ample. Will definitely recommend takeout if you are used to fine dining. If you don't mind that then do in person as well, as these dishes taste best hot and ready to eat.
Great food. Must be vaccinated to eat there. They have halal meat.We had a large group of 10 vaccinated people and eveyone loved the food.Very kind.Take the time, order for take out or eat in.
Very bad experience of service and the food as well. I ordered veggie manchurian and it was old couple of days older. I take one manchurian and it was yukky. I not prefer you to visit this place. I’m not suggesting or recommending this place. Very bad food. Poor quality. I paid for the dish even but staff refused to take it from the table. So come on your risk only.
Do not use debit here, I tapped my card they said it didn't go through, I inserted the card and did another transaction. Check my online banking sure enough, two charges for one order. Manager refuses to reimburse. Horrible customer service!
Customer service is horrible . They double charged my order on my bank and told me they would re imburse me but they refused after a few days saying it’s my banks problem !! Geez
Wouldn’t recommend it, some of the appetizers are good but overall food is pretty average. Does come in very big portions though, and the price is very reasonable. If this kind of food is your thing then you may like it but I will not be returning anytime soon unfortunately. Maybe in the distant future kind of revisit, just to see if my experience is better.
