Excellent food. Very good service. Small homely place. The varieties are good. Dine in call and book. I like the decor simple decor. Very pleasant waitress and very accommodative. Strongly recommend.
We recently got catering for a 50 people event from Chaska and everything was perfect! The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the price point - so reasonable. Mohit, the chef, was very patient, fully customized the menu to our liking and made very helpful suggestions. He gave us a generous tasting opportunity so we could decide on the menu for our event. They even provided free delivery on the day of the event.We wanted to offer our guests a full meal but wanted something different than the regular indian lineup so we went with Corn Maska Chops, Lemon and Masala Fish, Chicken and Chickpea Power Bowl, Paneer Wraps and each one of our guests loved it!I would totally recommend this great little restaurant with big taste for anyone in Cloverdale and outside. This is the kind of service and talent that the indian food industry deserves. Good luck Mohit and hope to see Chaska take off in the near future.
Grabbed a quick meal (Lunch Combo) and Kadhai Paneer (with Tandoor Roti).. tasted nice. Portion was just enough. But ordered in excess so Had to pack some portion in To-Go.Located in Cloverdale in a calm atmosphere. The restaurant is small and has just enough dine in spots, so don’t mind much about the ambience. The staff was friendly and courteous.

We ordered Mixed Veg paratha, chicken wrap and chilly Soy dishes. Chicken wrap and paratha were "okayish," and chilly soy was the worst dish. We just tasted a single piece and had to dump it for garbage. After a few hours, we started to feel uncomfortable in the tummy, and we had diarrhea until the next day. I doubt their kitchen cleanliness, how clean the chefs' hands are, and how hygienic they are inside. We have put this restaurant on our "never going again" list.The other worst part is that we had to wait for 30-40 minutes to get served with the dishes. We thought of leaving the restaurant at one time, but since my wife was hungry, I had to compromise. That was the bloody mistake I had made.I would not recommend this restaurant to any spicy lovers or people who want hygiene food.
We found this little gem of a restaurant by chance when we were in the area and I'm glad we had lunch there. Don't let the unassuming appearance fool you, the food is excellent. I loved the fries with coconut curry, they're the best fries I've ever had. All the other items we had were also delicious. Definitely going there again!
This place was recommended by a friend for its butter chicken. Last night we ordered delivery through Skip…The food arrived hot and on time.Items we chose were all medium spicy…1. Tandoori Fish ….was tender but overly spiced with masala and small portion. Along with burnt onions and bell peppers.2. Lamb Masala… gravy was flavourful and had tender pieces of lamb.3. Paneer Taka Tak …paneer was soft but tasted Below average. Nothing great.4. Chilli Lancha parantha….was good5. Butter Chicken with Bone ….they claim to make it Indian Stlye. I’m sure Mr. Gujral (moti mahal) the creator of this dish would disagree.The sauce was not creamy, lightly tangy with a mild spice profile. In contrast it was masala loaded, with no tandoori taste to the chicken and definitely not creamy. Just a thick curry chicken. Everyone left it in their plates. It’s definitely a miss!Our friend that had recommended it tried it with us and agreed it was not good.Another Indian restaurant that we had high hopes for that missed the mark and was inconsistent in their dishes.
Their butter chicken with coconut rice is to DIE for!!! Honestly the best butter chicken I've had in over 10 years. The chicken was really tender and had no skin, or bones; the butter sauce was super rich, creamy and delectable. Their veggie samosas are also delicious, they weren't super spicy and were really enjoyable, I could actually taste the spices without the burning from the heat haha. You must try this restaurant!!!
Their food is really delicious, decently priced for the quality and quantity. The butter chicken with coconut rice is a must try!! And their veggie samosas are delectable, not too spicy and the tamarind sauce goes perfectly with the samosa. The staff are so friendly too, just overall a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant :)
Good food. But rude staff on phone. Ordered some food for an office party and food arrived without any cutlery. We had hungry people staring at food!!! Phoned them and staff was so rude...Gave us a class on how to better order food on skip the dish!!
