Just left this spot and I have to say this is my by far the worst customer service experience I've encountered,After not having anyone answer my phone call until my third try, I placed my order, showed up to pay, got into the building behind one guy already paying, stood there to be ignored and having not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 people that came in after me to pay and place a order before me...I call out to the older lady which was probably the "poor excuse of the manager" that was working with seems to be a trainee, which explains why it took forever answering the phone calls, I said are you seriously gonna ignore me and allow 4 other people to pay beforeAnd pretend that I'm not even there?She had the audacity to justify their actions saying they ordered first?Well of course they ordered first you allowed them all to go ahead of me!If I could give this restaurant a 0 I would 1 is too good for you guys that are too incompetent to do your jobs correctly worst customer experience of my life, and she acted like that behavior is okay?
Best bubble tea for price! Food items are good especially if you dine in fresh and hot. They are super busy most times so pick a weekday to enjoy dine in.
The taste of their food is mostly consistent. This review is for their food safety practices. I've received undercooked meat as well as rotten side dishes from them. A lot of the rice platters come with side dishes that taste and smell rancid or rotten - rotten/sour corn and spring rolls fried in rancid and old oil.
I'm glad to be able to visit Bubble World Surrey location again! ? I love being able to have a real Bubble Tea which I classify as being good by have multiple flavours in it, and with ice-cream as an added option. So so good!! It is well worth paying a little extra, to get a much desired taste. I also like the hostess/cashier as she was very polite, knowledgeable, and patient with my order. I go here from time to time, even though it is a bit of a drive from my home, because so few places are able to add these extra options, especially the ice-cream. So thank you Bubble World and staff.
We decide to eat here yesterday because my husband love their kimchi soup, but we are very disappointed because the kimchi from the soup smell and taste really bad. I told the lady server about it then she asked the cook about it she said they change the product of their kimchi. But I’m pretty sure that the kimchi they put on the soup is an old stock like it was spoiled and there is a foul odor on it, because i used to make kimchi at home too but the taste is good like the kimchi they serve before.
We ordered 2 spicy hotpot, 1 pork & 1 fish, with lamb; assorted appetizers; 2 drinks - fresh taro slush & banana with milk. Food is tasty, great portion. I liked the taro drink but my friend didn't like his.
Don't the waiters have training?Very rude!I came to pick up my takeout.As soon as I entered the shop, a waiter looked straight at me and did not speak.I didn't know whether she was a guest or an employee, so I didn't dare to speak.When I got the takeout from the other waiter, The previous waiter still had a bad tone and asked me what my name was?a bad experience.Everyone should stay away from this restaurant.
Drinks are always great here, but wow the service is just garbage. I ordered a drink, my husband always gets the same thing. The order came out different so I told the girl that instead of coconut jelly the drink is suppose to be with grass jelly. I was not being hostile, just said it, as is. The server got mad and just basically snapped saying how she repeated it and that she didn’t make a mistake. Ok, and where did that get her? You still remade my drink with the correct order. So maybe instead of being so rude about it she could’ve said she thought she repeated it to me? Idk. I just thought the snap back was very unnecessary. I’m not trying to be a b*tch, but just wanted my correct order and not a rude server.
I am a new resident in Surrey and have been delighted to discover this establishment so close in proximity to my home. The food here is delicious and savory and the bubble tea the best in the west! The staff work very diligently in establishing a rapport with each client they encounter. I feel valued as a customer each time I purchase a new food item..all of which are awesome! I want to send a shout out to Yvonne whom has been especially kind to me. She exudes warmth and kindness to me on a daily basis. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone residing in Surrey!
Oh Bubble World. The old Bubble World was sooo much better from years before. Now a hot mess of a restaurant - sticky floors and tables, dirty windows. The food so unimpressive - raw dumplings (lady said “pink pork is cooked”) and the drinks watered down and unappetizing. Door Dash menu items even smaller and often undercooked or overpriced. Was a longtime customer until now.
