I want to acknowledge this eatery to anyone residing in Surrey! I was initially impressed with the kindness and humility the owner and his staff exuded to me when I first purchased my bubble tea there 3 months ago. Since that day I have frequented the establishment almost daily and I love their bubble tea and the warm and cozy atmosphere of the place. I find the staff to be delightfully friendly and professional. I highly recommend Bubble Waffle Cafe to all who encounter it.
One of the only places I know that has popping pearls! I can't speak for the food but the drinks are always so consistent and the owner is always so friendly and nice. I also love that they're open so late
Serves amazing food every time. Prior to covid, I went in and ate quite often. Their custom noodle soup was always extremely hearty and delicious as they’re very generous with the add-ins you choose. Their bubble waffles were definitely better fresh and in person compared to Ubereats but they still taste great despite being a little soggy. Bubble tea is also great. Of course it doesn’t live up to a place dedicated to making bubble tea (i.e. Coco, Chatime) but for a nice meal pairing it tastes great.
Good portion size, comfy, delicious options of soups, noodles, waffles and bubble tea.
Good local area eat. If you like big bowl noodles, this is a good place. Other dishes include Hainanese chicken rice as well as their dried noodles. Prices are reasonable, eat in or take out. They accept debit and cash. And of course bubble waffle itself.
My favorite Taiwanese style restaurant in Surrey! I can say for sure, as I’ve frequently dined here for the past 3 years. The food is always consistent and the owners are super friendly; I’ve come by so often they actually remember me now ;) I recommend the bubble waffle and also the fish soup noodles.I really hope y’all come and try it out!!!!

I walked in and asked table for 12. The lady said I cannot accommodate you unless you want to sit separately, (slightly rude).Then we sat down and she didn't come take our order? So we went up to cashier individually to order as I said to my friends she is only person and look so busy.Then when our food came she didn't give us chopstick so I went up to get my own as again I said she look busy.Then at end of night we pay separately bills of 3 families.Two families including myself paid but my friend look she saw they charge her 6 bubble waffle but she only receive 4. The lady went to kitchen and with an attitude said in mandarin, this Filipinos , they come and eat and ALWAYS not willing to pay what they eat,Then my friend went to her on cashier and said can I look at the bill and check. The lady tried to grab the bill from her rudely.My friend said can I check and you don't have to be rude to me.Then my friend said for extra 2 waffles $8, I will just pay. Not worth it that she treats us like that.So as my friend pays I walk up to cashier.I finally had to say something to lady as I am also chinese. I said my friend is willing to pay you so you don't have to treat her rudely.She then told me 16 Filipinos came yesterday and ordered And complain they didn't get waffle or drinks. I said I understand but don't judge everyone or all Filipinos the Same as not every Filipinos are same, yesterday is yesterday, today is her. It was her first time and she doesn't deserve to be treated disrespectfully.She then said to me YOU ALL ARE THE SAME,I asked her what do you mean me??? Why are you saying everyone. I'm just saying not everyone is the same and I am chinese and I met many Filipinos who I bring to their restaurant , we didn't complain about not getting our waffle nor drinks!!! I am posting because I want her to respect people not because 10 Filipinos do her wrong and it means the whole world is the same kind of Filipino she met. I AM Canadian CHINESE AND am very disappointed in her behaviour the way she judge Filipinos!!!!'By the way, I will not bring my beautiful honest Filipino friends here again as they do not deserve to be treated this way.Service was slow but yet we didn't complain and understand she was only person serving. and food was missing, still was willing to pay but was given an Extremely Rude attitude.
This place deserves ZERO STAR. Ordered here through Uber eats, nothing was fresh it was stale and and cold on arrival. Next day slight food poisoning. Everything went in the garbage, order came without the sauces I ordered which wouldn’t have made a difference because the food was inedible. Be aware of this location I don’t know how the other bubble waffle cafes are but looking at the reviews this location is a no no. Never again will I order from here. Be warned if you choose to do so. Not only that I ordered a good $60 worth of food prices were not cheap and the quality was really bad
The food is really bad! Nowhere close to other cafe carrying the same banner. Such a disappointment.
Ordered from Ubereats a couple days ago.. Food was mediocre, and the portions....? Fried Shrimps about as big as your pinky, hard/crunchy instead of crispy, no flavor. As for the Fried Cream? Saggy fried coating and the "cream" was just watery milk. 3 slices of bite sized Taiwanese sausages that is dry. The only acceptable thing I had was the takoyaki and bubble tea.. I remember eating here a while ago and ordered fried tofus and some other stuffs. Same thing happened back then, small portions, overpriced and overall bad food. Worst part is the misleading photos they put up. (Included 2 for example) All I have to say is, you're better off at O My Tea Cafe or bubbleworld for food. Some of the foods here might be ok but a lot of them I've had were just scams, scummy business practice.
