Visited during the July 2022 heat wave to have a cold pint and a decent meal. While the atmosphere was fun, the a/c wasn't working and there was a limited menu offered instead of their full offering.So, just 3 stars for my visit. But I will be back another time to see how things are during normal weather temps.
Classic pub in Surrey - nothing's changed over the past ten years including some of the prices. Great food specials. Food can be hit or miss depending on who cooks it, but when it's good, it's really good!
Food was great! I had lunch there yesterday but our server was so busy! She was amazing!!! Knew peoples names was always attentive but there were people there from what looked like the head office next to us, they never paid any attention to the restaurant or how busy our server was, and they never helped out at all, in fact we saw them go to the bar making a mess they left for her to clean up! I think her name was Jenna, anyway she was amazing!
I went here with my boyfriend and not only was the food amazing but the service was also just as amazing, the waitress that took our order was very friendly and polite, was a bit busy but that didn't stop her from doing such a fantastic job, we both got the soup and sandwich. It was very well cooked and delicious. I would highly recommend
Nice little neighbourhood pub. Haven't been here for a few years, but it hasn't changed, hasn't had to. Just had a quick pint so no food reviews this time. I will make a point of reviewing this pub properly next week
DONT EVER GO TO BREWSTERS. Service was absolutely horrible - the server cameoff so racist as someone who does bot want to serve two brown clients amongst 10 white people. I went out to smoke and The servers were absolutely horrible and started screaming in the parking lot in front of 50 other people that “YOU HAVENT PAID” and all while my partner was sipping his beer on the table . Being a respectable member of community, this is the last thing you would wanna hear. Manager was so arrogant - When confronted with issues, all she managed to say is “We have people walking out on us all the time, its fine if you dont wanna visit again.” People dont spend your hard earned money on pub like this. There’s so many good people out there who want your business.
I asked the server which she'd recommend, the wings or the chowder. She recommended the wings so I bought them on her recommendation. I was very disappointed. I found the garlic parmesan wings to be very dry and not very flavorful at all. I wish I would have got the chowder.
Service has completely gone downhill and the food is suboptimal. I am a great tipper but you have to earn it, not expect it. I had terrible service once so I didn't tip I must be flagged because now I get poor service every time. They don't get it. I was a server back in the day and I worked very hard for my tips. One time I was in brusters for Sunday brunch and the server was sooooo spectacular I tipped her $50.00. It's a tip! Over and above your duties, not expected.
Food here is always consistent...great service...cold beer. Awesome daily specials. Went yesterday to taco tuesday and were really happy. Not chincy....great fresh food. Decent prices. Love it here.
Went there last Wednesday night with my mother,who has Never been in a pub,was Totally Awrsome. The special of roast beef dinner was Amazing!!! The service was Amazing. Definitely will be good back.
