Overpriced for what it is , but being open till 12am , I give thumbs up. Thus the 3 stars.Too saucy to cover up the dryness.Sauce is meh, no crunch.I actually preffer going TopKing at central and buying their different types of chicken.3 medium container for 40$ you get free item with it. ;)
Minimal service and dried out chicken. It all just ends up tasting like the sauce it’s mixed with. Fried chicken should be juicy and crispy, and then the sauce should complement the taste of the amazing fried. This place serves bad chicken and tries to cover that up by drowning it in sauce. For the future, please focus on thoroughly frying the chicken before adding on any sauces. As for the dine-in experience, it feels more like a take out only place than a restaurant. The atmosphere was not my style at all, too much red… even modern McDonald’s restaurants look much better than here. Additionally, the service was super minimal. They take your order, serve you food, then they are done with you. There are no check-ups, you have to ask for everything including the bill which you pay at the counter. They don’t even pretend to look happy when they talk to you. There are too many things that need fixing here that I can’t justify coming again. My advice to the owner would be to change it to a takeout only place and focus more on the chicken, not the sauce. Either that or train your front of house in properly serving customers.
Usually busy but the wait is worth it. Flavorful chicken that's not dry but still crispy. My go to place for fried chicken.
This place is amazing. The portions seem bigger than some of the more well known Korean Fried Chicken places. My only qualm is I feel like there is too much breading on the chicken and my dish had quite a lot of clumps of just deep fried batter/breading soaked in sauce. Personal preference would be to have more rice cake in the chicken and fried rice cake combo dishes, especially the spicy cheese one.
I don't remember the names of the foods we ordered, but one thing they all had in common, was that they were all delicious! Lots of shared food options, whether you're craving something mild or extremely spicy. The service was great too! They were patient and accommodating. Will be back here for sure!
I went here to eat dine-in and the experience in my opinion is best described as below-average. The pricing and the portion size is fair, the service was non-existent as it felt more like a takeout place then a restaurant yet the minimum tip option is 15%, the crispiness and taste was slightly worse than other chicken places, and the ambience was passable. As for what to order, anything that isn't chicken tastes mediocore, but the chicken itself is adequate, but there are still better places. In terms of COVID protocol, they do seem to check for vaccination but they do not scan and by the looks of it don't seem to take it that seriously. It's hard to say I will come back as chico's chicken is literally right around the corner. Two stars, unless they make changes.
It's a Korean fried chicken chain restaurant. There's another one in Coquitlam. Both are great. Service has always been good and the food even better. Can't go wrong with beer and Korean fried chicken. Portions are appropriate to price and the place is fantastic for groups for late night cravings.They are also really good for take-out. They don't skimp on portions and often leave the container a little open so that the chicken stays crisp.
Awesome place to go with a group or casual date. Fun atmosphere and super delicious food with huge portions!! Definitely will give you lunch tomorrow from the leftovers. Good price for the size and options for half or full sized baskets of chicken. Everything was super hot and fresh and you can notice that's its all in really clean oil, so it all tasted AMAZING. The servers were really friendly and polite. Overall very relaxed and fun place to go.Not a good place if you really want to eat something healthy, but 100% the place to go for fried chicken
This is a great place to eat if you like Chinese style chicken dishes. The service is friendly, the place is clean, the price is fair. The taste is great. I give them a thumbs up! I will be back.
