Unfortunately dine in experience tonight was not it's usual. Food was great except we ordered lobster tempura not lobster roll.But thought ok we will try it. Food came nicely. Then after all was brought we were never asked about anything and had to get the waiters attention to get the bill. Apparently take out is more important.
Been wanting to try this place for a while. Wandered in just after 1030 as door was wide open and I was told not open till 11. I waited and ordered via phone at 11. I picked up my food and the dissapointment was that my sushi was packed at bottom of paper bag and hot agadashi tofu and hot miso soup placed on top. I was about a 12 min drive away from home but could not consume the sushi it was very warm and off putting. Big fail and waste of 30 bucks.
I enjoyed the sushi, both my bf and I thought it tasted very fresh. However I ordered the super crunch roll and on the menu it did not mention it was spicy so when I first tried it I was surprised and thought I ordered the wrong thing. I don't like spicy food and although it was mild spice I still think it should state that on the menu. I also don't like sesame seeds on my Cali rolls they should ask on the phone I would of said no. Despite those things it was reasonably priced, tasted good, and my bf and I would go back.

Some good sushi for sure! The interior is pretty nice. They have little cushions for the wooden benches, so that's a definite bonus.Prices are sliiiiiiiightly higher than what I'm used to but I would still recommend checking them out!
Since the prices at Umami Sushi went up, I decided to get some Salmon Sashimi at AKA Sushi, (I am a Skip the Dishes Courier, and AKA is one of my frequent pickup locations). The Salmon was not very vibrant (probably farmed Pink Salmon), It didn't taste very good at all. And I could fit the amount of Wasabi into a thimble. I'll be going back to Umami, and paying the little extra...
Loved this place, good food and good price. I am becoming addicted to this food. It is delicious, the service is so fast. The quality of the food and taste it is amazing. Don't miss the opportunity to try.
We are so impressed with Aka Sushi. After Skip the Dishes delivered the wrong order to us and then refused to rectify the issue we called Aka directly and they had a new order ready for us in 10 mins that we chose to pick up ourselves. Way to go Aka Sushi. You guys rock! From now on we will always order directly from you.
The price is decent. The sushi is fresh. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because when I ordered take out, I was charged $0.75 for one Paper bag even though I don’t need it. I understand that there will be a $.25 charge for paper bag but I didn’t know they charge $.75 instead without informing the customers.
