I got chicken wrap, this is literally the best Donair place, even though I have moved from surrey but every time I visit surrey, I won’t leave without having their chicken wrap. I recommend them and they deserve more than just 5 stars
The foods really good. It's fresh. The staff are really nice and friendly. They always so sure no problem to whatever request you make. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are alot of flies inside the restaurant. I wish they'd do something about that.Just doesn't feel sanitary. But I would definitely recommend the place.I've tried all their donuts, baklava, chicken etc. I would say definite value for money.Oh and it's halal.
I had falafel with Iraqi Samoon, it was good, they only add friesBTWIf you get a side fries, they are the best ever, never had a crunchy fries like they served
Easy 5 stars. Food is incredible and most dishes are good for two meals unless you're starving. Friendliest service EVER, and the atmosphere is really awesome and old school. If you haven't had their fries with the spicy and garlic sauces with the tajin, you're missing out. They pick the best tasting veggies, too, to top everything. I love eating here tbh
The restaurant can definitely use an update but the food is absolutely delicious. I’m very happy with the service. I normally get “number 18” which is the special Arabic shawarma, it comes with salad(tabouli and tossed) pickled turnips garlic sauce and fries. Absolutely delicious, lots of food for a good price.
I had the Lamb shank platter. Not the best I've had, definitely not the worst
Special Arabic fries
Most awesome came from there this afternoon.. My buddy not 20 mins behind me... Shows up my place eating the same thing from A1. Great portions alright. No reason to not come back. Very satisfying
Great beef donair was had from here. Beef was very tender and man did they pile in a lot of it. I loved the fries they made too. Its the kind that is crunchy and has those crumbs.Falafel and the the pistachio dessert roll they had was also really good.Reasonable pricing and good tasting food. Will have to come back to try their other items.
It’s now been over 1.5 years of being a regular customer and I couldn’t be more grateful for being taken in for a quick bite. Honestly this place is the go to for donairs, platters and the fries- absolutely delicious! The quantity you get for the price you pay is exceptional! And unlike other places you don’t even need to ask for extra toppings or sauce, they automatically add beyond enough! In fact, when you ask for reduced portions, they make your visit worth it and still add a good amount (it’s as if you didn’t ask for less).I must say, Hendreen (aka Henry) and Draie (may have spelt his name incorrectly) provide exceptional customer service, and there’s never a visit that goes without them acknowledging me; they know how to respect and communicate with their customers for sure! Also, it has always been visible that both are hardworking - no matter how busy they are, the line is always quickly moving and it’s go, go, go!Sam, the owner is also wonderful, I’ve interacted with him a few times - once regarding the heating system for those who dine in, and by the next visit it was fixed (fyi: I’m there Atleast 1-2 times a week, so I’d say he was quick on that). Sam was extremely attentive and understanding.I definitely recommend A1 Coffee & Donair for their special fries, as well as their, fresh chicken and beef donairs and kabobs. I can’t highlight how scrumptious it actually is.
