A little run down and it feels like you're stepping into the 90s, but other than that the food is consistent and the service is quick. Prizes are out of control tho, I remember when you could get a mozza combo with onion rings for $9.25 including tax ... now it's over $16!!

The guy working there was very nice, was working at very fast pace to give us good service, but its not worth to work there for a single guy, at least two people must be there in night time. It is completely a management failure, this store is run a very poor management who can’t even manage the shifts properly. I believe they are just exploiting their employee by making him do work of two people.
Overcharge for stuff so be careful if you are ordering, very expensive for the amount of food you get. They really skimp on fries so probably not even worth ordering (its 4-5 for an order and they come in a very small container its potatoes they are dirt cheap, you can walk to fruitcana and buy a 10kg bag for 4 bucks) burgers are cooked and use real meat but besides that everything else is over priced. A&W is in a weird place where its fast food but the prices are akin to an actual restaurant. Better off just going to actual fast food to get more food for a better price if you don't have time; or to an actual restaurant with service if you have the time would be paying around the same anyway and probably get more and better food
Haven't been to A&W for atleast 10 years so I decided to fulfill my nostalgic hunger. First of all, $27 for 2 meals seemed a bit pricey for fast food. So, maybe I was expecting some decent quality in the meal. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing; the onion rings were quite greasy and not very fresh and the burger was meh. Definitely not as good as my memories of a teen burger meal.Will give kudos to the root beer in the glass mug - that was cold and delicious.Well, I probably won't be back until I forget about this recent meal.
Went to grab my daughter a kids meal last night and was overcharged for it. When I told the guy it doesn’t make sense because the signage clearly states that it is $4.10 for a cheeseburger kids meal m, he tells me if I want it cheaper he would have to cancel the transaction and only give me a burger for that price. The menu clearly states you would get the entire meal for that price so to be told I can only get a kids burger is insane. I ended up paying $7.02 because I’m not gonna not feed my child even though i know im getting robbed to my face. I doubled checked on the a&w app to see if I was tripping out and of course the price I would pay on the app for the exact meal only came to $4 something. I dunno, come here if you want to pay more for your meals because the price listed don’t mean anything. Taking my business elsewhere, it’s gross when businesses as big as this behaves in such a shady way. I can afford to pay for food but getting overcharged and than blatantly told it’s correct and that I am wrong as if I can’t read or something is messed up.
Twice they have given sesame seeds to my kid who had allergies. After reminding them again and again please no nuts and no sesame.They made it with sesame then swapped out the top bun when we pointed it out. Spent 6 hours in the ER. The second time they did it again.
Quick and efficient here. Never had my order messed up yet, although they do put their burgers together messily at times.
The service was pretty fun at the drive through. I was ordering food for my family of 4, the bill was what I anticipated. The fun part was was when I asked for extra deep fried pickles from “the best burger ever” orders. The restaurant did it on the side… Awesome! I am an avid A&W loyalist. I was excited for our meal, regardless of the cost. Unfortunately, on our way home (5 mins up the road) we started to enjoy the deep fried side pickles, and immediately realized the deep fryer oil was well over due. They were soggy, dark and tasted weak. When we got home to enjoy “the best burger ever”’s, they were the best tasting burgers ever!!! But the fries and onions rings we ordered were clearly in the sales overdue oil. Soggy, dark and frankly, we didn’t finish them. That was disappointing…
Only one person working, taking order, making meals on April 13,2022 around 9 pm (it happened multiple times, just sharing specific time for this review). Young male server, student possibly, was working at very fast pace to provide good service to customer. Unforeseen Customer que kept adding in drive thru. Heads up, it is not the server problem to work fast pace for preparing and packing meals while taking orders, management must look into it and add more staff (atleast 3 people) at a time for safety reasons or Complaint to Worksafe BC will be listed if responsive step not taken sooner.Thank you.
