My God!!!! They should be declared illegal. The octopus balls.. Wow.. Scallops in ginger butter.. My oh my! Duck pastrami was delicious.. Crab cake corn dish.. Very well done.. Food for the soul!
A busy place to dine in Suggest advance booking. I haven't tried too many items and impressed by the food quality. Order clams in soup, ramen with BBQ pork in pork bone soup and another ramen with pork in spicy soup base. Will definitely try some other items. Strongly recommend.
Would recommend to get their miso or pork based ramens which they are better known for. Ordered tomato chicken, though while it tasted good it is not worth ordering. Fried oysters wee meaty and crispy. Waitress was friendly and provided great service. I
Tye food was good:) I was surprised by the rich taste & assumed it would have a lot of MSG, but was surprised when I had no headache after :) We had the spicy ? ? ramen , the tomato seafood ramen & the baked scallops & everything tasted excellent:) Only complaint was that the tomato ramen was too messy to eat due to sand In the clams & messy shells of prawns to discard of , but still flavourful:) Worth the trip just to visit the exemplary staff as they’re all very professional & friendly:) Such a great crew of ladies I wish we had em in Alberta :)
The food was pretty tasty. My friend comes to eat their curry rice pretty often. I had the dipping ramen and for a non-ramen eater like myself, it was pretty tasty with a lot of fatty meat. The dessert toast however was a letdown. The cubes tasted like plain old toasted bread.
They have such a variety of delicious looking food and drinks. We came specifically for the flying ramen with takoyaki and it was delicious!! Super crispy and saucy. We also ordered the fried chicken karage, duck pastrami, cheesy mochi, okonomiyaki, and creamy curry udon.Enjoyed them all except the creamy curry udon was lacking taste and was grainy, not creamy at all.The service was friendly and attentive. They're also taking good covid precautions as the tables were separated with plastic and they have sanitizers at every table.Reservations recommended as it got busy pretty fast on Saturday afternoon.I would definitely come back to try more.
One of my FAV restaurants to visit! I don’t get why everyone is leaving bad reviews for the service? The service is 10/10 both times I’ve visited! The food tasted so so good. I got the bone broth ramen and it was so delicious I couldn’t stop drinking the broth! It def has a little msg in it but it was a good amount (you can tell it’s bad if you need to constantly drink water - which I wasn’t).I also tried the beef stone rice. BOMB. Literally so good, the rice on the bottom is crispy, crunchy, just perfect! On the first visit they had a robot that served food but this time the robot wasn’t here, maybe next time !All in all, the hype is definitely worth it please give this place a try! This is how a perfect restaurant should be ran - according to me and my grandma agrees!
Very average food. Ordered the Japanese curry udon. Although it smelled and looked like curry, i felt it lacked a lot of flavor due to lack of salt. It tasted like a very lightly spiced curry sauce, which is not ideal. The prawns were good though.
I love this place, I feel safe to eat here. They have hand sanitizer on every table and plastic board between the table. All the staff still wear mask.We order seafood okonomiyaki, pan fried udon with beef and creamy mashed potato curry udon.Food taste good!
Wanted to try the beer ramen but not available yet (summer item?). Large menu offering many options and portions were good for the price. We made a reservation ahead of time so seating was not an issue, but the restaurant was quite busy and felt like they could have used 1 more server. Clear partitions and dividers are still used to protect customers' dining experience. Food came hot and tastes as expected; a good option for a quick hassle free meal.
