This waves coffee shop is spacious. I can relax here whenever I come to Steveston for walking exercise. This waves coffee staff can be attentive and careless if you aren't a regular customer. I often visit different waves locations to experience different customer services.Overall, I will come back again if I will drop by Steveston.

Great location to grab some coffee, there were plenty of seats even with the social distancing regulations in place. They are still taking cash but it is best to pay with a contact less methods. Baristas were nice and the taste of my coffee was really good. Hopefully they can put hand sanitizer by the doors.

The inside is cozy, clean, and spacious. They open late and have tables great for studying. However, I tried their strawberry cheesecake, and it tasted defrosted from frozen with some parts still hard and frozen. So ambience is great but food is mediocre.

This is a nice big place and on sunny days one can sit outside. Lots of space and all glass to very bright. Prices are very reasonable and bakeshop items are tasty. Enjoyed their regular coffee and their latte. No hesitation in recommending this place.

Great place to get some work done. It was fairly quiet (this was a weekday), there's lots of windows, and the dark roast coffee was amazing of course.

Truly. Third Rate and falling. It used to that Waves was a decent place for a cup of coffee. They tried. Now you can barely find Waves. Remember those great lids?I was super disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered a dark roast and walked a few minutes before taking my first sip.The contents of first sip went right through the cup seam at the top, down my shirt sleeve. When I inspected cup, at the rim, the seam expanded and started widening, and dripping as the bond was failing. This was not really cause to be too upset. I went back the store. The man who served me looked and recognized the problem saying they were having problems. This was great, I was not upset until he then proceeded to use his bare hands to open my lid on my defective cup, take a new cup and lid and pour my tepid coffee, into the new cup and fasten it. Maybe for added effect he put his thumbs really close to the opening part to show me it was fit on properly. Thanks dude. Really, I know the coffee in cup is worth less than the defective cup itself. you should have just gave me a fresh cup. This was truly a classless move. We would all love a great, local alternative to Starbucks. Waves in my opinion, is not it.

We visited this coffee shop after a Sunday afternoon stroll in Steveston Village. When I was trying to correct my order, the counter staff was quite rude and grumpy. I don't think we will visit this place again. There were some other options across the street.

Over priced food & not enough staff (2) for the lineup of customers waiting inside 10 and outside 6. My lightly toasted bagel was burnt & the butter was frozen.

Heidi was very helpful and welcoming. Love the iced cinnamon latte. Will come back for sure.

I like this place. Clean, great environment, I am not one to go outside of the norm for coffee. But I highly recomend this place. Very tasty blend of java. ??
