What a wonderful refreshing experience. We were just customers passing by on the way to the ferry home and now this place will be a part of our ferry ritual. We will never pass up a chance to come by here again. The food was so wonderful but the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. I would go here just for the conversation. Thank you thank you thank you. You made our hectic travel day turn to warmth and calm.
Delicious fries with garlic sauce! I find that garlic sauce is a rare find here where the sauce is smooth and creamy. I really enjoy it and recommend it as a side with your wrap or platter. The platter was also delicious. It had more rice than the meat, but I was okay with it since the rice was flavourful. The meat (chicken and lamb) was moist and the spice in it was just right. I recommend this place if your near by.
OMG!!! This place is amazing! Literally just picked up from Sal’s for the first time and took a few bites…hands down the BEST shawarma place in Richmond!! Super fresh and you can taste the difference. Family owned and local. Cant go wrong. Definitely coming back and telling everyone I know about Sal’s. Shout out to Adam for awesome service. Everyone should eat here!!
Amazing donairs, very authentic tasting.Fast and friendly service.Garlic sauce is very garlicky so if that's not your thing don't get it.
We are to glad that we found another great Mediterranean Cusine restaurant (take out for now) we ordered lamb, very friendly owner, he is from Syria, let’s support them…, he told me that he will be expending to next store space soon.
This place has one of the best wraps and platters we've ever had. Plus everyone who works there are amazing and kind.The size and quality of the food is a straight 10/10, always a good place to get a quick bite or somewhere to get you full.
Just tried this place today. The flavour was spot on fantastic. I got the chicken with the lamb on rice plate. Everything tasted delicious. I don’t usually like the salad but that was probably one of the best salad I’ve had. The only down side was that I could use more salad, there was so little. I recommend this place if you are in the area. Great place for a quick bite.

It's hard to find a decent Shawarma in Vancouver Island. Uncle Sal's Chicken Shawarma is a must try. The lamb has a twist to it from the classic but it will definitely an acceptable version for meat lovers around. In addition you will receive a touch of the Kurdish Hospitality.
Came today to Richmond BC location ordered two platters beef and chicken, one sauce on side but the older guy laughed and said he couldn’t do that very rudely i dont see why not but anyway food was awful chicken was burnt to crisp and strong burnt taste. Very rude customer service. First time ever not finishing platter because was just awful had to throw it out.( Salty and off tasting) Lady also sanitized her gloves then directly touched pickles and placed on my food very disgusting along with her touching everything else too then food. If looking for good place skip this place and go to Chicago Subs very nice man there and good food worth the money. Basically threw 35$ Directly in garbage
