Drove from Seattle to try this restaurant that was highly recommended by a buddy. Amazing food with awesome friendly staff, a hidden gem for sure! Lots of selections and will definitely return to try more, I recommend to other sea foodies!
This is the worst restaurant I have ever been in my entire life. First, my wife & I ordered for the marinated shrimp, marinated squid, and the marinated oysters. Who would have thought that they would be marinated in the same kind of marinade as the taste would all be the same? But they were! The marinade was like just Kikoman sauce with cilantro. And all 3 were served cold as in refrigerator-cold. In short, the taste and overall food quality was so bad. Second, how can this restaurant put a $28-price on something not at all fresh? When I first saw the menu and the prices, I thought that food must be of high quality that’s why it’s pricey. But it’s like they bought cooked shrimp from Superstore and bathed them in Kikoman sauce. They didn’t even serve the whole cooked shrimp platter you buy from Superstore for 8 to 9 bucks as portions are so small for such a pricey tag. Third, it’s a 3-table restaurant and there’s only 1 server. There’s a long gap between orders because the server was busy on serving takeouts. We even waited for 5 minutes to get the bill. It’s no big deal to wait if your overall experience is okay. But it becomes so frustrating and even mind-boggling as to why such a lousy restaurant get so busy with such terrible and overpriced food.
Very delicious and fresh. Also very friendly staff.
Delicious fresh food. The owner is an amazing cook and he’s very kind and personable. Thank you for the great dinner and service!
I had a amazing "Chinese New Year " hot pot diner at the Hotpot place , I am not a hot pot guy , it is one of my business associate invite me and my partner for good luck Chinese New Year diner , can not say No ! I am not sure what to expect ! but WOW ! what a surprised hot pot experience I had to night ! the decor very clean and upscale , no problem with the Covid guidelines , we had a private room booked , what a elegant room , cozy , very impressed , nothing compared to the Dolar Shop Hot Pot ! menu little expensive from other hot pot place , but I find out you can plan your dinner menu with the Manageress for your budget , average $100 to $500 per person , and the private room is min $600 , with six of us , no problem with the $600 , but my business associate told the manageress about #150 to $200 per person , I just amazing the quality of the food is so fresh upscale presentation is eye opening ! Iron Chef , take a sit ! the seafood Platter very unique and variety of top end seafood , like Scallop , Prawns , Abalone , Dungeness crab , Geoduck Oysters and many many more ! ( I wished I can take some picture , but in Chinese Culture not allowed bad luck ) and also variety of meat and Vegetable , it is most elegant traditional Chinese Hot Pot I been eating so far in my life ! it is 100% high end quality , Quality in Quantity , excellent professional service , she did not miss a thing , wine glass never empty , not a single dirty plate on the tablet , if you do care the budget , this is a lovely place for high end hot pot but I noticed they do have Dine Out Vancouver menu For $45 , looks not bad at all . HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERY ONE ! STAY SAFE AND HEALTH ! BEEN HAPPY !
