For food: the ribs were overdone, not tender and a bit salty. The pasta is fair quality. The mussels are reasonable quality for the price.The ketchup in the chicken fingers and fries my child ordered: The server passed me the plate and the ketchup poured all over the front of me; my card holder, my jacket, my T-shirt, my pants and the seat. The supervisor or manager never once even came to ask if everything was okay. Another server saw me full of ketchup walking to the bathroom. Some of the customers eating at the restaurant looked at me with shock because I had a light coloured shirt with red sauce smothered all over my abdominal area. One of my kids was shocked she started to cry. She didn’t realize what happened but that there was red paste all over my abdominal area, which might have looked like something else. This is the second time this has happened in the past 2 months that I visited this location. It was different servers, so management or the kitchen needs to solve the problem of the black plastic sauce cups slipping off the plates. The other time it was the seat and the floor that got the ketchup and not me. With all the recycling initiatives, why does the restaurant still use black plastic sauce cups for dine in?
The food here is sad. The mussels were very salty and not fresh at all. Another appetizer was overly oily. Pasta is just ok. Ice cream tasted artificial flavor. Even McDonald’s is better option than this. Will never visit again.
Overall good experience. The restaurant was run efficiently and the waiting staff were kind to us. Pretty average prices get yourself bread, soup/salad, pasta, ice cream and a coffee which is a win overall. Quality of the food was good as well! Did not have to wait long for a table on a Sun evening.
Went as a birthday lunch, had an absolutely wonderful time. Manager at the front door was nice and professional. Charlene is the best waitress ever, we were somewhat rowdy but she had been very kind and worked quickly. Food was good. Love this place since childhood, never disappointed.
The homemade bread ? and butter are really yummyYou have choice of salad or soup for starterThe main dish spaghetti ? was good but I personally prefer their pastaTheir ice cream is not too sweet and you mostly feel the flavorTheir tea was great and special way to serve it
Food was decent albeit a bit slow. However when it arrived we were satisfied. The clam chowder was like warm but it was tasty. Overall I think I enjoyed the meal! Service was friendly and the atmosphere was good. Plenty of parking available, after all it is in the middle of nowhere!
The venue is convenient to the movie theatre.It was nice and quiet inside the restaurant.I had the tortellini and it was delicious. My 2 friends enjoyed their lasagne and spaghetti too.The dinner is very good value. There is the salad or soup, the main course, beverage, and ice cream for dessert.
I loved the food, the service and the attention. We asked for a cheesecake for my son's birthday and they were really nice.
I like this place a lot. They are honest and kind. The manager is also attentive too. Like all restaurants, there can sometimes be some small mistakes but unlike other restaurants, they acknowledge and sometimes may even offer some extra service. It has a nice cozy environment in my opinion.
Ambiance and food is awesome. They will give complimentary bread as soon as we dine in! Food arrived super quick. Friendly staff.
