Overall experience was just okay. For the price we paid, I would not go back again… The Keg used to be my favourite restaurant. Not anymore…Our waiter was absolutely amazing but the food was not great at all.I used to love their bread but not anymore. Hard to cut, and tasted nothing special. It used to be so nice and moist. With their special butter, I used to eat too much of it! Sadly, i only had a bite this time.Brie was just okay, nothing fancy, nothing more. It was a mediocre.Green salad was just okay. Too oily. Pepper was cut too big and not much cucumbers and tomatoes. The prime rib itself was delicious but onions and mashed potatoes were just okay…The chicken and ribs were good but chicken was a bit dry…I mean, i was disappointed because it felt like i was eating everyday regular food. Food that i could have cooked at home… paying more than $250 for 4 people dinner and tasting just okay food was disappointing.

Awesome service and yummy food !!!

Typical Keg experience. Good food and ambiance, but it's become a little pricey over the years.

We went as a family (five adults) for my birthday. It was wonderful. Harrison was an amazing waiter. Great service and the food never disappoints. Loved that we could make a reservation. We were in a booth so even though the restaurant was packed it felt like our own little private party. We will be back???❤️❤️

This steak was mouth-watering good. It was so tender and juicy. I know everyone will have their opinions about coming here but I've always enjoyed it. Service was fantastic and friendly. Definitely book online before you come. You can use their website or OpenTable.

Wanted to bring the hubby here to celebrate our one year anniversary because I didn't want to risk trying a new restaurant and figured we can't go wrong with the Keg. Sad to say we were very disappointed. They first brought us the wrong appetizers, then the wrong entrees, when we finally got the correct entrees the steaks were way overcooked. They brought us out new steaks but by then we just kind of lost our appetite. The escargot was one of my fave dishes but this time they were so tiny, the mushrooms were about 4 times bigger than the escargot so you couldn't really even taste the escargot. This was one of my favorite restaurants but am so disappointed we had a bad experience on our first anniversary no less :(

Wow, haven't been to The Keg in a long time. Had a nice birthday dinner and I have to say, the Peppercorn New York Steak was amazing. The server, Will, was very good. Keep up the good work!

Celebrated my birthday here! Highly recommended! Loved the steak and the dessert!

The waitress was very friendly and easy going (I forgot her name, but it started with a s). Food was good and the birthday dessert was a surprise to me, meaning it was beyond my expectations since every other restaurant I have been to gives a very small dessert for birthdays. The plates and knives were dirty tho - one plate of food at hair on it and one knife looked like it wasn’t cleaned as it still had grease on it. There was no keg burgers due to the shipment issues with the flood, I feel like it would have been better to know that before it was time to tell our orders instead of asking for it then being told there aren't any.

I regularly patronize this location every couple of months as a family birthday tradition. For the most part because we LOVE our prime rib. And without fail, either the prime rib is either over done or under weight. We usually order the Keg-O-mega which is suppose to be 24oz and ends up being 5-6 oz short of the ordered weight. Yes…I am that guy who brings a scale in to weigh the meat. This only became a thing after suspecting the cuts are a fair bit smaller than expected. Just to let you know, I always request 3 cuts of the Keg-O-mega as rare as possible when making my reservation. At over $50 each, I just want to ensure I am getting what I am paying for.I am leaving this review because the head chef came out and brought out more cuts to compensate than what was short. So, kudos for addressing my concern.I do understand that the restaurant business is extremely difficult, and even more so if you want to be successful not to mention the small margins. But it does frustrate me to get a cut of meat that is 20% short of what you ordered and have to pay for.Overall though I will still be coming here as the prime rib game in Vancouver is pretty limited.
