Great meal…until i returned home…The food looked and mostly tasted amazing. The place was packed and the energy was good. I had a great time catching up with a friend and enjoyed a lengthy stay.Thought it was going to be a regular night when I returned home, but ended up spending hours on the toilet.My friend too, later the next morning. This was the only meal we shared that day.Not sure if this is an isolated incident, but wanted to share my experience ??♀️ so i personally will not be returning.
Get here early as it is quite popular, but the staff works hard and quick to turn tables. Good quality fish, very flavorful options. Push yourself a bit if you can handle the spice but if not they have non spicy options as well. Spicy seafood, cold beer. Great combination.
Our first time here we ordered a lot of seafood and drinks. It was a fun night. Be sure to make a reservation so you don't wait outside for too long. Our favorite is the scallops.
Ate here 2x within the week i visited Vancouver, it was probably the best restaurant on the block. Amazing house salad, great flavours on the skewers and the raw Oysters are a fave! Wish they had some horseradish and cocktail sauce though, other than that, they serve good food! Worth the try!!
We’ve been to this place twice in the last 6 months and like it very much. This restaurant is known for its seafood and I have to agree they definitely know how to make great seafood dishes.We’ve had conch seashells, which was a seasonal special, geoduck, arctic surf clam and their famous fish dish. Every dish was not only tasty but looked great too. The service was superb as well and our server was very patient in explaining and recommending dishes while also very attentive to our needs without us even asking.Overall I think they have great food and service. I will definitely visit again when I’m in Vancouver.
Our first time here and on Mother’s Day. The food was awesome, the place is great and the service is good too. We ordered another 10 pieces of their yummy Beef Skewers but unfortunately it was not entered in their system. Because we had to wait, they waived it and was free. Loved everything especially their Beef Skewers, Scallops and Cucumber salad. We will definitely be back!

Very good experience ? the servers were all extremely polite and hospitable! Food was super quick and very tasty. Better than other comparable restaurants. The line is very long but worth the wait. The class are very big and the price was good for the quality and quantity you get. Authentic
The Fish Man is a busy place but with good atmosphere and ambiance. The food is fresh and the portion is reasonable. We were particularly impressed with Yan, our server. She is very welcoming and friendly. She is also very smart and understands our needs. We will definitely visit again!
Not my cup of tea.Hygienic was poor, food on the floor, flies all over.Food qty, the taste was okie, however 3/5 dishes came “not warm”, the ox tongue, fried Geoduck, and the fried vegetable were not even warm.The waitress was very suggestive, with 2 people dining in for dinner, we ordered 5 dishes, and she suggested us this is too little, so we went on to ordered 1 more dishes. We end up taking away 2 dishes.Overall it wasn’t a good experience for us. Koo
