Much better than the one in LA in terms of selection and taste. The only thing LA is more attractive is having that 1983 Toyota Corolla parked in front of the store. The taste in Richmond is better for sure.

Nice dessert shop overall, the price is bit high compare to others. Tofu is excellent, the owner was very generous to give complimentary dessert on each order, pudding is so so, rest are very good.

Lovely place to get Taiwanese dessert. The coconut tapioca is good. Nice service and staff.

Came here on a Saturday night at around 8:30 pm the restaurant wasn't full but there were quite a lot of ppl. We ordered the matcha shaved ice and the signature silken tofu. They were doing a promotion where the second dessert is 50% off and you also get either an extra 2 toppings or a mini dessert when you order the signature silken tofu. We decided to get a milk mochi. The matcha shaved ice was not bad. There was grass jelly and red bean on the bottom so it wasn't all matcha shaved ice. Wish it had come with a squeeze bottle of condensed milk for a bit of extra texture. The matcha flavour was actually quite strong. The signature silken tofu was also not bad. My favorite topping was definitely the taro balls. They had taro flavour and were nice and chewy. The silken tofu was really soft and fragrant. My favourite dessert of the night had to be the milk mochi. It was nice and chewy not too sweet and super soft. I would get the milk mochi again.Overall I gave it a 3/5 mostly because of the price. Each dessert was almost 20$ each if there was no promotion (except the milk mochi). The flavours are not bad and I can see the effort and quality of the dessert but I still can't justify the price. I would recommend getting the milk mochi though. The entire is also really nice and the servers are very friendly and helpful.

Fried tofu is very delicious when served hot! It is crispy outside and soft inside. A little spicy sauce is added to the tofu to enhance the flavour. I really love it. The only con is that the original price is quite pricy for the portion. There is a promotion on Fantuan app where you pay half price for the fried tofu when ordering for the first time. Worth a try if you like fried tofu!

Lovely place to get Taiwanese dessert. We had the hot dessert over here and taste reasonably good. Really recommended for hanging out with your friends.

Amazing staff & food. The place is themed after initial D. People with a Japanese car can also get a discount on the food. Just remember that the place is cash / debit only.

Cute decor and super cool if you’re an Initial D fan but let’s talk about the food. The tofu portions are TINY for a place based off a movie about tofu and racing. Expensive too! I would try some place else.

If you love initial d this place is the place to be! The wall is covered in art from the manga and well tofu desert is sold here too! Their stinky tofu is great i enjoyed my time here and will come again. There was only 2 people working and it got busy so we understand. They eye contact to know they didnt forget us there and apologized when they took our order. So good experience for me!

Ordered their signature tofu dessert (w/ mango cup) and deep fried stinky tofu on Uber eats. Was very disappointed with both the quality and the portion.First of all, the tofu pudding had a weird texture and tasted artificial. The toppings were very little and nothing really worth mentioning. And the “mango” cup didn’t even have mangoes. Just regular vanilla ice cream and some orange jelly-like things in it.Second, the deep fried stinky tofu was probably the worst I’ve had. It was soggy and tasted like someone accidentally poured the entire bottle of hot sauce on it. Zero finesse in the seasoning.Price is definitely higher than most similar dessert places in town. I would say it’s overpriced given the poor quality and small portion. Not a place I would recommend.
