My girlfriend had similar experiences to a few others who had bought a cash card with T-Go Tea when they had initially opened as part of their promotion. She had moved away to a different city for school for a few years so we never had much of a chance to go. Soon after she returned, the pandemic was announced which prevented us from going. Fortunately, we were able to use it a few times in 2021 and when we attempted to go the last time, they had closed down for renovations. We had thought following the renovations, we could visit t-go tea again but that was not the case. There is no indication of expiry on the card, and they did not inform us that renovations would be taking place nor the renovations would include a complete change of name and potentially management. I am not even sure who to contact anymore since theoretically the store no longer exists. Hearing that others were unsuccessful in using their cash card is discouraging.
Me and my co-worker have been a returning customer for the $1.99 milk tea with pearls and the Honey Aloe Green Tea with coconut jelly! Good deal and love the paintings!Update: January 2021 - Unfortunately, they don't have this deal anymore.
Customer Service... None.I was a long standing customer with t-go tea when the Central Garden City complex was brand new. Since Covid (similar to Lisa. W's experience), I hadn't gone to the store, in quite some time. When I finally did get the chance to yesterday, I saw that the store front had renovated and the window display had "Wahaha coming soon" written on it. I messaged T-Go Tea on their Facebook page, asking them if they had closed down. They responded proudly telling me of their new partnership with Pepper Lunch. I proceeded to ask them if they would still honor any cash card previously purchased, where they simply stated "No."This new business has no intent of honoring any promises previously made by management.
Dishonest store, feels like I’ve been scammed. I previously bought a $50 prepaid card from them (pre Covid), but due to Covid, I have not visited the store since. Today I visited wanting to use the card and they will only give me 2 drinks for the value of the card, stating that they no longer accept it. I do believe that in Canada you are legally not allowed to have prepaid cards that expire.I did not get a refund for the card, they gave us 2 drinks for it, Then took the card and said they changed owners. If there store name has not changed, it’s their legal responsibility to honour any prepaid cards previous sold.Heard they are moving/closing. I hope they never open again with such dishonest service. Don’t run a scam and sell prepaid cards.
So many options, great pick when I was visiting Vancouver !
Their brown sugar milk tea is waaaayyyy too sweet. I think it could be much better with less sugar. Otherwise, pretty good.
Would rate -10/10Ordered two milk teas, both flavourless despite 100% sugar. Tasted like a tea bag was dipped in for 1 second.
Ordered: Milk TeaDidn't like it.. Tasted watered down from first sip..
Delicious salt milk cap. It has been my favourite place to visit when I am in Richmond!
Had the pearl milk tea (hot) this afternoon, very disappointed. It's barely warm and tasteless. Very high on the price.
