My go to place for sushi takeout now. Delicious rolls and fresh sashimi. The Osaka Roll is simply the best.
Ordered a bowl of udon and 3 rolls. Udon served first. My son finished his udon. My rolls never arrived. Only paid for udon but they didn't understand the rolls were never served. Then I paid credit card. They asked for cash. Didn't seem to care I didn't get my rolls. First and last time here. Udon was cheap, ok taste. Highly not recommended.
The only Japanese thing in the whole place was the bottled Japanese beer.Took my staff for a lunch expecting a mediocre Japanese lunch.First warning should have been when I spoke Japanese ( Romaji ) no one responded. Tried English they looked at us we were Aliens. Managed to order four lunch specials .Ordered four Kirin beers to our surprise we were servedTwo Kirin beers and Two Asahi beers. When questioned they said they only had two Kirin beers.Server tried to serve scalding Miso without a tray, burnt herself and just about spilled the Miso on my lap.When we got the entrees one of order was wrong. They did rectify the matter immediately.My colleagues Farmed Salmon Sashimi was pale and tasted like it was artificial . My Prawn tempura was two mini shrimps lined up and heavily battered. Miso was scalding and Chawky. No tempura sauce. Drenched with salty black sauce. I had to request for Tempura sauce. The salad was topped with thousand island dressing infused with mustard. Daikon was diced and colored with yellow dye, to make it look like Mango slices.Most disgusting Japanese cuisine cooked in non Japanese method.Place need to be shut down.The space could me used by any establishment.DISAPPOINTED No.UNCOUTH CUISINE.
My go-to place for seriously cheap yet delicious salmon oshi. They were also very generous with the amount of tuna in the negitoro roll. And FYI... its cheaper to order for pick up on their website rather than on Uber Eats ;)
Was asked if we wanted the large or small size avocado sushi, Difference being 6 or 8 pieces. Well.... Look for yourself and see what we got. $4.50* Also ordered agedashi tofu. For $4.95 very thinly cut. No flavour super bland and tofu was going bad! If these were regular sizes. I can't imagine what the kid sizes are... 3 stars because there is definitely room for improvement.
Will never come here again . Ordered a Smoke Salmon Battera and all they gave with this all done roll. Bad quality and very disappointed.
The worst Japanese food I've ordered in Richmond. Save your money. Chicken teriyaki was super dry. Negirtoro roll was super mushy. I dont even want to describe the rest of my order. Even my mom said this was the worst place we ever tried. And she loves sushi.
I personally think this is one the best sushi restaurants in Richmond. The Quality is high and quantity is generous. If you want a better experience you might need to fly first class to Japan and visit the fish market in Tokyo.
I ordered twice from here as takeouts. Their price is very good. The sushi is fresh and the tempura was fine although it's not the best sushi around town, however, it's what you pay is what you get kinda good. They give generous portion and the ingredients seemed fresh. Overall, I'd buy from them again if I want something decent and quick.
I spent $38 for Uber eats. One of the worst experience in Vancouver.
