A surprising delightful dessert shop nestled in the an old part of town.I loved how lightly sweeten the dishes were and the soy flavor reminded me of home. This is the perfect place to go if you're looking to indulgence a bit without feeling guilty afterwards.
Nice smooth silky soy Tofu. The black sesame soy soft serve was also unique and icy tasting and less creamy unlike milk based ice cream. I like it. I like the large size of their tapioca pearls but they were totally undercooked and still dry and hard in the middle. I bought takeout and they gave me the wrong order. Ordered the ginger one and got the brown sugar Tofu instead but didn't know until I opened it at home. It still tasted good though for what it was. This place makes good speciality soy products :)
The food itself was not bad but there were flies absolutely EVERYWHERE. Mind you, this is an air-conditioned establishment with no doors open, at least from the entrance. That means these flies likely came from the kitchen. We tried so hard to shoo them away from our food to no avail. We were so disgusted and the person behind the counter could clearly see how much flies we’ve already swatted away.Their menu is on the pricier side but had decent reviews online so we were really excited about trying them out. Incredibly disappointing and definitely a health risk to any diners. Please don’t waste your money here.
Such a great spot for soy dessert fanatics like me or even if you’re vegan, lactose intolerant etc since they are a 100% soy dessert house!I tried their ice cream, soy milk and tofu pudding! The desserts delicious and had ofc a strong soy flavour. We enjoyed all the different toppings the tofu came with.We did have a bit of a communication problem where the staff mixed our order with another customers. Even when we tried to explained what happened, I don’t think the employee understood what happened due to a language barrier but she was able to give us the correct order at the end! There was also a fruit fly issue. Idk if it’s because we sat by the door but there were so many fruit flies ? It was going into our dessert toppings, the tofu, the ice cream… what a nightmare.Overall, the desserts were great!! The customer service was also super friendly. The flies really killed the vibe though…
Today I brought a sponge cake at soy talk, It’s actually really good. My kids and I love it so much!!!
Tasty dessert place! We got the Oreo soy ice cream and the black sugar soy pudding. The soy ice cream tasted nicely like soy milk and was slightly sweet. The soy pudding was wonderfully soft and the toppings were great!
A great little shop at Parker Place! Cute and cozy place offering a variety of soy desserts. They have soy drinks, ice cream, mochi, pudding, toasts and pastries. If you’re vegetarian, lactose intolerant or simply a fan of soy, check this place out. Lots of yummy and healthy options for everyone. Items are fairly priced as well and come with great presentation.I recommend the soy ice cream (comes in a cute cup!), soy toast and the classic pudding where you can put your own toppings.
The black sesame soy milk was delicious! The soy soft serve was very lightly sweetened and unflavored, just sprinkled on top with matcha, not like a matcha flavored ice cream. Pricy but fun to try.
Tried the Herbal Jelly Soy Pudding and Oreo Soy Mochi, both were yummy ?The herbal jelly is smooth, perfect after a heaty / yeethay meal/snack. There are also giant tapioca, taro balls, taro paste, green beans, and red beans to mix with the jelly. The soy soft serve is good on its own as well as with the other items. The soft serve tastes exactly like tofu pudding but creamy like ice cream. The soy mochi is so soft and easy to pull apart with a fork. The amount of oreo dust on it was perfect for dipping. There was only 1 person working but he was polite and efficient in getting the order ready. It was quiet around 7pm but really filled up around 7:30pm with families and couples.10/10 recommend to anyone who enjoys soy and will come back to have more soy soft serve, soy mochi and to try the soy milk ?
Unique desert place. Great menu choices. Loved the service and recommendations too. Will come back again!
