Great AYCE sushi for some late night cravings! This is a Richmond staple. The all you can eat menu gets cheaper at night time - I believe after 20:30.The quality of the sushi is passable, I wouldn't say it's great but it's not bad either. For the price and the "all you can eat" I would say it's worth it.Overall, Richmond sushi is a good place to hang with friends and get really stuffed late night! ???
Based on other reviews, I went here with high hopes but unfortunately the sushi quality was subpar. Thankfully, other items on the menu were more around the quality and taste you’d expect. For the all you can eat lunch menu, the price is actually better than you can get most places. There is no sashimi included in the lunch menu which is completely fair given the price. Service is reasonable and the atmosphere is fine for a lunch or dinner out with friends/family. Maybe it was just an off experience for me, but if the sushi quality increased to even average, this restaurant would be more than worth experiencing.
The food was okayyyy at best. Salmon sushi pre made and rice was really not appetizing. Staff was nice and only saving grace..... Also my coke was delicious.
Very kind and attentive service for AYCE sushi. Quite an expansive menu with over 100 menu items to choose from for all you can eat. You literally get a bit of everything from hand rolls, most types of sashimi, udon, tempuras, short ribs, and even grilled beef tongue. I highly recommend the SWEET YAM STRIP. It's like a fried mochi with the best texture (a combo of Chinese long donut flavour and mochi texture)Impressed with the quality given that it's all you can eat. Much better than the average AYCE sushi joint but then again, not the finest made sushi either, but hey, it's all you can eat and still comparable to some sushi restaurants. They don't give fillers or rice bricks to fill you up here, it's the real deal. Around 40 bucks gets you the full comprehensive menu and soda pop was only $1.25 a can which is pretty good for restaurant drink prices. Would come back.
Went in there for the late night all you can eat deal. The price is not bad for Richmond all you can eat. The services is quite nice. However service speed were quite slow may be due to the amount of customers they have. Call ahead to book a table is highly recommend since there is a lot of people. Over all the food a pretty good, sushi are fresh and thick cut sashimi.
All you can eat. Three menus $27, $34 or $41.Good for the price!
We went to this restaurant today and the waiters were very friendly. But the first round we ordered was only given half the amount. The second time we ordered a little more. As a result, the waiter kept warning us that any food left would be fined. Later, we saw that there was a lot of sushi left at the two adjacent table of the westerners, and no one came out with a fine. We started to eat at this restaurant 20 years ago. But after changing the boss, the quality is getting worse and worse. Today's sushi rice has very little sushi vinegar, almost like the taste of white rice, can you not be so stingy, boss. In the end, we turned down the dessert offered by the restaurant. The experience was so bad.
It was fast food serving time before they got busy.Server was kindly not as another review .Quality was good enough as all you can eat restaurants. As not much opportunity to have AYCE sushi in Vancouver so I hope they keep going to business well .
Food quality is ok. Service is quick and friendly. Great place if you want to eat more.
Food selection was good but cleanliness is below average. We asked for tea, the server got the tea pot from a table behind us where a couple had JUST left!!!!
