The beef hot pot is the signature dish. It comes with tendon, tripe, slices of very soft beef and cabbage cooked in the delicious broth. You must dip the meat into the dried spice powder as it kicks up the flavour. The other dish we had was the spicy wok fried squid and beef tongue. Flavourful and not too spicy, everything goes well with plain rice. Food is a solid 4 service is ok but I don’t go to Chinese restaurants expecting the best service. Pricing was about $100 for two people. Not cheap but you can’t really find this beef hot pot stew anywhere else. Will be back for sure.
Hands down disgusting service. Extreme attitude from owners for asking for water. And asking for bill seemed like a choir to them. She rolled her eyes at me when i ask if they accepted cash or credit. The food is subpar at best, and smothered in MSG.Only one real reason this place is still in business. But hey, thats just a nefarious hunch....**PS fix your front door, like come on.... try to show a touch of class.
Food is fine. But the place seemed to be overbooked and was being forced to pay&leave in an hour..
The stir fry and cold dishes was actually better than the mini beef hot pot LOL. The chicken feet was definitely a highlight.
Quite disappointed after visit.Food 2/5, the taste is not consistent. The taste of pot of beef is too light, but fry dishes are salty, and some spicy. The overall taste is below the average of a regular sichuan restaurant.Service 0/5. The service is just horrible. The manager is very pushy, verbly tells customers that they are very busy and want you to finish food ASAP. Additionally, the manager strongly recommended me way more food that actually need, we actually cannot finish single one dish. The cost is not cheap at all, paid over 100 dollars for very untasteful food.
There was a middle-aged woman with a very bad service attitude, the food tasted average, the shop was small, and we made the wrong choice to choose this restaurant.
wow, surprisingly good
We made reservations for Saturday at 6:30pm. When we arrived the restaurant was quite full but luckily we had reservations. We ordered 2 stuffed sticky rice cakes, oil drizzled marinated duck, steamed rice powder coated beef, beef stuffed cake, medium leshan beef soup pot and honeycomb tripe. The server really wanted us to get their stir fried dishes and we really wanted to but unfortunately we don't eat a lot of the innards available. The 2 stuffed sticky rice cakes are filled with a bit of pork and fermented veggies. Its kind of like a salty mochi. A nice little snack. But I wouldn't order it again. The steamed rice powder coated beef had a lot of herb flavour (fennel) and was very fragrant. The bottom was filled with potatoes. The beef was really soft and easy to chew. It's slightly spicy. I would recommend it if you've never had this dish before because it's not very common in restaurants.Beef stuffed cake was more like a cake with a LITTLE BIT of beef and green onions. More like a green onion pancake. It was very crispy and kind of thick. It's like a thicker green onion pancake with a little bit of layers. This was surprisingly addictive. I would order this again but don't expect lots of beef. You are eating it more for the crispy outsides. One of my favourite dishes was the oil drizzle marinated duck. The Chinese translation for this dish is sweet skin duck and they are not kidding when they say sweet. It is very sick but not sickly sweet. I would definitely recommend this dish. Some bits of it are a bit too fat making it a bit hard to chew but the duck itself is very soft and well marinated. Finally the star of the show the Leshan beef pot. We ordered a side of honeycomb which we placed into the pot after we scooped some out. You will find all kinds of stuff in here. The beef, light beef tripe, beef tendon, cabbage etc. The beef is sliced really thin and small so it soaked up the flavour of the soup well. It also goes really well with the dried spice dish they provide to each patron. You need to dip everything in that dried spice dish because it adds a whole other dimension of flavour. The best thing is when you get to the end and the soup is SUPER SWEET from the cabbage and the beef and radish stewing in there.Definitely a different addition to the Chinese food scene. It's like a cross between hotpot and just everyday dishes. Would recommend for people to try once and definitely get the duck and the Leshan beef soup pot.

Food is so tastey, nice service! Definitely will come again!
