Ordered the chicken shawarma platter with Greek salad for 15.99. It is definitely pricy compared to other shawarma places, but the portion was generous and the flavour quite nice.Downside: The platter doesn’t come with a pita bread and the amount of hummus is quite pitiful. Halfway through eating the chicken I bit into these chewy bits, possibly bone or cartilage, I couldn’t tell. I spit it out. But of all these years I’ve been eating chicken shawarma, this had never happened to me. It was a bit of a turnoff. For dine-ins, they use disposable utensils & containers but don’t sort the garbage (eg, plastic and compostable). It is not very environmentally friendly.
We ordered two super large chicken and lamb mix wraps and paid about $40 but got very disappointed when took the first bite as there were literally very little meat and taste wasn’t very good. I hope they upgrade their quality soon. However I do not recommend it to anyone.
Food was amazing. Tastes exactly like In Toronto. The white sauce is so good. I was served by Khush, that was very nice and polite.
I got the fattoush salad and they gave me straight up lettuce head…. STALE LETTUCE IN THE SALAD. I paid 4 dollar for that small baklava and they gave me extra hair with it as well. Poor food quality and poor customer service.
One of the best shawarmas in the metro Vancouver area, highly recommended this place to anyone wanting some good chicken shawarma. Amazing customer service , they help you decide your spice levels too, and warn you about how spicy things would be. Jasmeen the manager is amazing. Will Surely visit again.
I've been wanting to try this place ever since they open and now having tried it, the best thing I can say is that the food was actually quite flavorful. Sadly that's about it. For some reason, you can't order online from this location. It doesn't show up as an option. You need to download the app. Once I did order, it said the order will be ready in 10 mins. It took me 20 mins to get to the restaurant only to be told they will need another 10 mins. By the way, when I was there, there was only one person behind the counter, 5:30Pm on a Friday. He was taking orders and preparing the food which explains why it took so long. Also, he went from working the till to preparing the food and I'm positive he didn't wash his hands. When I got the foods home, I notice I didn't get a salad with my Chicken Kebab Platter. From the reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence here. The fact that I paid extra for a Greek salad made it worst. To top it off the chicken and the lamb in the Shawarma Wrap was hard and dry. It was like it's been cooking all day and I was given the outer crust. They've been open long enough that these bugs should have been ironed out by now
Same great taste as the locations across Toronto! Chicken was hot, fresh and the whole “chicken on the rocks” was great! Great tasting food! A must check out if you have never tried this before and for those that can’t be in Toronto right now!
Was craving the chicken Shawarma and poutine, made my husband drive out to get it and my fault for not being specific on the poutine ( fries, gravy, cheese curds) but he came home with this platter. Attempted to try it but fries were undercooked, over sauced , lack of cheese curds and meat was dry. The chicken in our wraps was also really dry. Super disappointed. 3 star is for the friendly staff, which seems to be consistent. Food not so much.
Nice and friendly staff. Avinoor took my order, Great customer service. Kamal and Karan made my food. Poutine was really good, Definitely one of the best ones I had. Will definitely come back??
