The Taiwanese Minced Pork Rice was bland. Don't buy this dish. The #2 Noodle Soup was ok.
Pork noodles had no taste . La zhi ji was bland too. Coke was warm asked for cup of ice charged me 0.15 for cup . Asked for chilli oil and only sriracha was offered . My mistake for not going next door or getting xlb from other place . Dismal food and service . Bland food even when asking for very spicy . Surprised cannot give chilli oil when some was on my food .
I had the No.2 item, the beef brisket in noodle soup. When you place your order, you get to choose thick or thin noodles and how spicy it is. I chose the thick noodles and very spicy. The dish wasn’t great and it wasn’t bad either, I like spicy soup and it came out three out of 5 when it came to how hot it was. I found the noodles a little undercooked, the soup was a little bit oily and not much flavor. Overall, I’ve had better Taiwanese noodle soup.
Probably worst lurou fan (Taiwanese minced pork rice) I’ve had in Richmond..Rice was too soggy, the stewed minced pork was gritty and tasted very flat. Marinated egg was way over cooked and even the side dishes tasted off. Lemon green tea is prepackaged hence no modifications can be made and just tasted bland. At $10 for a meal with a drink is a good deal if you are only looking for something to fill you up. Cash only. Not coming back.
Beef noodle soup no taste, it was so bad that had to throw it out. As well the deep fried squid, the portion was less and it was full of dried chilli peppers. Unbelievable, very different the ones display with the photo
Not up to expectations and food barely seasoned. When I order deep fried squid I don't expect half of it to be diced Chilis. The noodle bowl literally had no taste. Picture attached is the container with the squid finished. Half of the container were fillers.
Great service and great food. One meal set including drink cost you $12. Amazing ?
Friendly staff; Authentic Taiwanese cuisine!
I've been coming here for a few weeks and love their number #2 Beef Brisket soup with thick noodles, cilantro and mild spiciness. Highly recommended!
No 14 on the menu was Spicy Squid. Packed with chilli peppers and tossed together with marinated deep fried squid. The mixture was just perfect. Looked crazy spicy but was actually a Med hotness level. Enjoyed as it came with a drink and bowl of rice with side of veggies and pork sauce drizzled over the rice. Will come back to try another dish when in the Food Court again.
