My wife and I ate there a few months ago and got their fried rice and honey garlic spare ribs and they were phenomenal. I went back yesterday because I remembered them being so good and the fried rice was as delicious as ever but their ribs was a huge letdown. I won't be going back. inconsistency with food is unforgivable especially with food prices so high these days.they do offer a take out discount which is nice.
Beef noodle- noodle was cooked to perfection, not overcooked, not soggy but the beef brisket was bad. Surprisingly, the Harlow(shrimp dumpling) was very good, recommend.
Worst restaurant service ever!!!I have been ordering food from this place for many years, the service is getting worse and worse, it always gives you another understanding of what is the worst customer service each time that I visit this place. And tonight is my last time ever going there. I ordered 5 dishes for 36 minutes, only the Chinese donut came, and nothing else; when we asked, the server said, the kitchen is so busy today, and the congee is out of the freezer, it takes time to warm it up. In fact, I didn’t see a thing in our order ( when she pulled up the order from the computer, at then, I told her to make the food ASAP, and she kept saying,86 was the kitchen’s fault and they missed the order,(it was never ordered, why is she lying….) and then after I fold her to just do the order and we will wait, she said as she leaves, I can’t do anything if you decide not to eat!!! What on earth was that about? I came here to eat at 10:30pm, hungry! What does it mean that I don’t have to eat and who told her that I don’t need to eat?Unbelievable, even if she is busy or even if she knew that I knew she lied! This is extremely rude! I don’t recommend this place to anyone at all!
Food was just ok, nothing great. Service was slow with only 2 servers (perhaps that's why they looked so unhappy to be there). One of our dishes never came, even when we reminded the server. She looked offended when we asked to cancel the dish after waiting an additional 20 min after having finished the rest of our meal. However, the one reason I would never return to this restaurant is the guy manning the till (the manager? Yikes!). He was unbelievably rude from the time we arrived to the time we left. He wouldn't even look at me when I asked for a copy of the receipt. He just slammed around in his till, putting the cash away, ignoring me, before thrusting the receipt at me with a grimace on his face. Will never return to this restaurant because of him. Heads up that this restaurant is cash only.
I would give it 0 star if I could. The curry beef tendon is horrible, they put a huge piece in the pot U can’t eat it like that. And the service is literally non-existed. They don’t refill hot tea/water even when u ask. And the leading waiter the old guy in black suit has 0 manner. He doesn’t calculate your bill right and is kinda rude
Ordered beef brisket noodle, shrimp dumpling in soup and sweet and sour pork. The soups came shortly after I ordered.The beef brisket was half fat. Soup was way too salty. Dumpling was very good but again soup was way too salty. Waitress was very defensive when I ask her about my missing order of sweet and sour pork, which didn't come 10 min after we finished everything else. The restaurant was not even 1/3 full and it was Saturday 1230pm. She rudely told me the kitchen was busy and she didn't missed placing the order. I left 10% tips but I would have given at least 18% if service was better. Cash only at this restaurant. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day...
This place is usually really good, they had actually become our go to place for late night noodles and dim sum items.Their shrimp spring rolls were my favorite item on the menu, until tonight. Instead of a crunchy wrapper filled with bouncy, snappy prawns and garlic, I got what you see in the picture; a barely-room temperature tube of raw prawn and pasty dough, and a strong desire to never eat anything from Neptune again.Making sure your food is cooked before it’s sent out is a bare minimum, zero tolerance thing for me, especially with seafood. I won’t be gambling with my health here again.
I ordered the take out. The dishes were horrible. The pork from the fried rice tasted like rubber. Wonton noodles smell so bad. I have to throw it away. This place doesn't deserve a star from me and it needs to be close down. ?
Been there around 7pm, restaurant not busy only half occupied. Food is acceptable, one star for the service. Two mid-age waitresses seems unhappy to work there. One waitress forgot to place our order acting like nothing happened when we found out from manager. Another waitress placed plate really hard made a loud sound on our table and turned away. Their service like treating a beggar. If you two women don't know how to do your job. At least you can be nicer to people especially it's you who made mistakes.
Offers low quality Chinese food, similar to the products available at the self serve prepared food section at T&T supermarket. Under seasoned and made without care. Place is super dirty too.Tea pots have significant grime and sauce build up. You can only imagine how many hands had touched the tea pots over the days or weeks and wonder how often or even if they’re ever washed.I frequent dirty greasy spoon Chinese restaurants but this one is not worth it.
