Where do I begin, me and my girlfriend went to Nandos for lunch. Upon arriving we where greeted by Marissa. We ordered our food and where directed to take our seats. Upon the food arriving we had a staff member come up to us that he had billed us incorrectly during the meal. This was fine as the staff member had made an honest mistake as he was a new employee. This is where things turned bad, Marissa decided to yell at this employee in-front of everyone SCOLDING him like he was a child. She was so loud everyone in the establishment could hear, almost like a drill sergeant. This was ridiculous, this continued throughout our whole meal and I truly felt bad for the employee. Once I confronted her she said it was her “tone” of voice. I went as far as asking the employee if he was okay as he was ridiculed and embarrassed. The employee responded“ this happens all the time I try not to take it personally”. I’m astonished upon which owner let Marissa be a manager. I would personally leave 0 stars if it was an option. Your manager should uphold reasonable care and decency rather then tormenting and harassing employees.
Stopped here before noon on Saturday (2/26) with my family. Very let down with this location overall. A shame, because I am a life long fan of Nandos and I eat the same exact basic thing every single time. I'll take the extended drive to Ironwood before I stop here again. Food was meh at best, orders were messed up, and the staff weren't helpful or pleasant to deal with (which was unusual for Nandos). At first all seemed fine, but once the food came that's when the disappointments piled on and everything took a complete 180.
Yummy chicken! I really enjoyed the vibes. It did not feel like a fast food place. We dined in and enjoyed our stay.
Haven't been to a nandos in a while, went with my friend for lunch. Service was friendly and the decor and atmosphere was pleasantly eclectic. Food was decent but the portions were a bit small. Would go again
Very rude every time we come in to dine in probably wont come back again, let the lady taking our order know that last two times are mash potatoes were very cold and if we can just have them warmer temperature this time instead of apologizing or saying ok she goes on to tell me that its funny that they were cold as they heat them while we order. No idea why there so cold every-time then but just felt insulted she didn’t seem to care, we received our food one item at time while waiting 5 minutes per item so basically everything was different temperatures once again. Very disappointing service think her name was Nerissa or something.

This is the closet Nando’s to the Vancouver airport, so I make sure any layover through Vancouver is always long enough for a quick uber ride to have lunch or dinner here. I have never been disappointed and with the food or service. Whenever we can we also try and stay at a hotel close by so we can have Nando’s every night we are there.
I know Nando's is capable of 5 stars but this location really needs some feedback.Pros:- Servers are welcoming and kindCons:- Understaffed =1) customers seated at tables with prev. tables food/utensils present2) food is being cooked faster than they can bring out. Our chicken was warm and not hot by the time it got to our table- There's no organization with the staff, they are inexperienced teens and/or adults that are trying their best. Management needs to help them out by better training or hire additional staff during serviceOverall, you should avoid this Nando's location but other ones (i.e. market crossing and Kingsway are great!)
