This is really good! Loved their omlette roll! Sticky rice roll is more Taiwanese then Korean, but it was still delicious. Crispy and sweet.

We came to this place due to its high reviews.Perhaps hoping to be wowed since we both like Korean cuisine and eat it quite often. To be honest, maybe we needed to try more dishes, but based on the ones we ordered, we felt more let down than impressed.—-Seafood Pancake - 1/5.Very lacklustre, tiny amount of morsels of mini shrimps and I think there was only 2-3 very tiny pieces of squid that looked like it was diced into oblivion. Even the spring green onion was scarce. We were also surprised at the unconventional approach of this place’s seafood pancake - deep fried instead of panfried? The deep fried aspect did not make this dish anymore unique.—-Buckwheat Noodles - 2/5The aluminium bowl that this dish came in was at least 200% larger than the actual ingredients themselves. Not sure if this was supposed to be an aesthetics notion. The overall dish is edible but ingredients aren’t the best quality in terms of value. Taste was on the bland side. Overall also another dish quite scarce in ingredients. I am starting to wonder at this point has inflation really hit this place that hard? So far the level of execution is Richmond night market level - poor value and mediocre execution.—-Bimbibap - 4/5The only redeeming dish tonight - and truly depressing if even this dish gets screwed up by Korean restaurant.Taste was good, moderate level of veggies, cheapest beef but the star of this dish was the very hot stone bowl that provided lots of nice crispy rice in the end.—-Will we return? Nope.I eat in Burquitlum’s Korea town quite often and also South Burnaby places and there are much better options out there.PS: Tea taste like water - literally.

Very busy. The BBQ on hot stone is really good. I tried beef and pork belly one. I like it but if you dont like fat, dont order the pork belly.Good portion to share.Food comes fast.

The owner is one of the best people I’ve met. While we were waiting, a group of customers paid their bills and didn’t leave for 30 mins after they’re done eating. And when they finally left the owner felt so guilty and he offered us a dish for free and he refused to take our tips too at the end, he apologized and were so nice to us when it’s not even his fault. Honestly exceptional customer service and all the dishes that we ordered was simply amazing. Would recommend this place to everyone I know.

I ordered Kimchi okonomiyaki, fried shrimps and Bulgogi pot. The food is very delicious and very clean. If you are looking for a delicious Korean bistro, I highly recommend Mr. Bro. It definitely deserves a detour! The restaurant was very busy, but the servers were very kind.I highly recommend this place and I'll come back ?

Finally made my way to Mr. Bro after trying the other Korean fares on Alexandra Road. I'm so surprised at the high ratings given by other patrons. Many patrons wore their coats during lunch as it was quite cold there. Seating was prompt but we had a little wait for our order to be taken. The food was served quite quickly, but the dishes were not very flavourful. The japchae are mostly sweet and not savoury enough, you can tell from the picture the marinade is unevenly mixed and some noodles are darker than others. The noodles stick to each other, making it hard to eat.The bibimbap was unflavorful, and mostly rice. I was very disappointed with this dish as I've had better bibimbap in food courts near by. The stone bowl was not hot enough to make the rice crunchy or crispy, but it was very chewy.

Special props for waitress, who came to Check on my table frequently.I recommend the seafood pancakes - it’s made with panko, which is a smart take on crunchiness. I would recommend passing on noodle dishes, they do not excel at those. They were just ok. I would go for their appetizer or late night snack style dishes instead as that appears to be their specialty.I hold their hot sauce in high favor. I put lots of it in my dolsot bibimbap. They don’t serve side dishes but I was surprised to receive a yoghurt drink at the end of the meal. I’m satisfied with this being a replacement for side dishes.

This place was OK. I ordered the Grilled Black Cod, Seafood Pancake, and Cream Corn with Cheese.Seafood Pancake was by far the best, had some great sauce that came with it. The Cream Corn with cheeese is what you'd expect.I wasn't a fan of the Grilled Black Cod. It was very black/burned looking. Additionaly they kept the hard/burned fins/bones on. You can't eat these but you don't know its there because its burned. To eat this, you need to be careful you're not biting into the fin/bones. Would not order this again.

The place was a little bit on the tight side, but that’s to be expected in hole-in-the-wall restaurants. The food was great. The kimchi fried rice with cheese is a must try.

It was great, sadly when we got the deep fried shrimp full order after she placed it, about 30secs later it fell over on to the ground.Small joint that the food has just something that made it taste so good. I loved the udon, the cheesy chicken, and the beef tartar. Everything else was good! It was a good experience. I do recommend have a soju and enjoy the moment with your friends while eating there. Luckily when we got there it wasn't that long of a wait time.
