Exceptional food & service! Clean - love that they still wear masks - and tables are spaced apart. TV in the comfy bar/lounge area nearby blared hockey re runs during dinner; music would better match the calibre of dining experience here as it’s more than a pub. Kale caesar salad and meatballs were awesome (not small) plates and the chicken (large plate) came with a generous & delicious green salad. Highly recommend.
$14 mozza sticks are microwaved and cold inside. Didn’t even get to dinner based off the service and appetizer. No wonder they’re offering hotel guests 25% off dine in. It’s a hurting hotel bar on a good day.
Loved our service this evening, had a chill time. Alfredo sauce was amazing!
Mozza restaurant and lounge is connected to the Radisson Hotel close to the Vancouver airport where a lot of its clientele are travellers to and from the airport. COVID travelling has slowed and as a result there aren't a lot of people eating at this restaurant. Accordingly service was slow with only a few servers available to look after you. The food was standard fare, well cooked but nothing special.
The menu is small but the food is good. We had the meatballs for an appy and they were great. Pizzas were pretty average, service was average. They were out of several drinks we tried to order which was disappointing but this restaurant does not skimp on the Parmesan cheese, which is something we loved. Beers were reasonably priced. If we were ever staying at that hotel in the future, we would eat there again.
Nice restaurant, delicious food, friendly service
Instead of Italian bread or rolls with olive oil and spices, plain dinner rolls were served with butter. Spaghetti was al dente and sauce without flavor. Limited menu. The restaurant was pretty empty and that should have given me a clue as to what to expect.
We went for the Valentines Day menu, which was high on presentation value, but not so high on taste. The short rib was tough.
Waited 45 mins even though we had a reservation. Food arrived really slow and oil used was old so the food tasted odd. Needless to say we had an upset stomach later that night because of it. Also sitting near the windows was freezing and heating was inadequate. Despite the waitressess being nice and always making sure we were stocked up with hot water, the overall experience was dismal and our date night was ruined. Would not recommend.
